Hannah Lee Thompson, DDS was born and raised primarily in eastern North Carolina. She attended high school in Wake Forest, NC, and was awarded an athletic scholarship to East Carolina University for swimming. Dr. Hannah graduated with a degree in Health Education & Promotion, where she was captain of the women's swim team and awarded the university's student-athlete of the year in 2013.
Dental implants are the most durable and permanent tooth replacement option available. Like the natural teeth they replace, implants are built to withstand the everyday pressures created by normal biting and chewing activities. Although implants have an incredibly high success rate, there are a few rare occasions where complications can develop.
Let's be honest. It's pretty rare for most people to have perfect teeth. While brushing and flossing regularly, and coming in for regular cleanings can certainly go a long way to maintaining a healthy smile, unfortunately, issues such as decay or infection weaken a tooth so much that even a dental filling just won't cut it.

I’ve only been to this dentist once for a general cleaning BUT this is probably the best dentist I’ve ever been to, in almost 3 decades of existing. Emily was the dental hygienist and she was thorough with her cleaning, yet gentle. She has the most delicate technique for cleaning your teeth. Emily and the dentist Hannah—did a great job of showing me my teeth with the captured images and explained in detail what I had going on. I’m not a fan of living in this area but going to this dentist office, made me feel like home.

Dr. Hannah and her staff are by far the most caring professionals you will ever encounter in dentistry. They always go above and beyond for their patients and you will always have a pleasant experience in this office. If I could give them 10 stars I would, because this is how good they are; the entire team! If you need any dental work done I would highly recommend this team. I called this practice on a Friday morning to find that most dentist’s offices are not open on Fridays. I had woken up with a horrible toothache and pain that spread through my jaw and face on one side—and called to ask about emergency services. Because the website says that they do have emergency services, you’d typically expect that to be accurate. My call was forwarded to a very kind gentleman who assured me that the doctor would call me “very soon” so that they could get this taken care of and help with my pain. Great place, very clean office, super friendly staff, and an awesome dentist. I've been to a number of dentist, and I have a mouth full of dental work, but this by far my most pleasant experience with a dentist. I felt absolutely nothing, not even the shot. That's nearly impossible to do. I really recommend this place, especially if you don't like the dentist or have anxiety about going.
