We are proud of our office, which utilizes state of the art equipment and advanced sterilization systems. Our caring staff, comforting doctors and soothing background music give our dental office a stress-free, relaxing atmosphere. The office employs a casual theme to make folks feel at home and, we strive to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Please call 252.726.1421 to schedule an appointment. If you reach our office after hours you may leave your name and telephone number and we will return your call the next business day. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your wait.
For your convenience, the forms required for your first visit with us can be found under the 'Online Forms' tab. You may fill these out in advance of your appointment to save time! Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth.
For your convenience, we accept Master Card, Visa, cash, money orders and personal checks. We are participating providers with Metlife, Delta Dental, United Concordia/Tricare, BCBS of NC and Cigna (except Cigna Advantage). As a courtesy, we can file claims for most all other insurance carriers. Also, we participate with Care Credit to help those patients who desire a payment plan (up to 12 months, interest free).

Wonderful dentist! Wonderful staff! After my elderly mother (who suffers from numerous health issues, including dementia) misplaced her dentures, a friend referred us to Dr. Johnson. I just moved to North Carolina about two months ago and was looking for a new dentist. I went in to get my teeth cleaned today thinking that I might also have a cavity. It has been some time since I last went to the dentist (like 1 year to 2 years) and so my teeth were pretty bad. I ended up only having some minor gum recession and no cavity, but they did have to do an extensive cleaning (in two separate visits) because of how bad the plaque build up was. I am kind of new to the area so I didn't really know who would be a good dentist to go to, I hadn't been to a dentist in 10 years so I knew I had to go somewhere. I based my decision to go to Johnson Family Dentistry off of the two good google reviews they had (may not have seemed smart at the time) but I'm very glad I did. I'm writing this review in case there's ever someone else that's new to the area and isn't sure where to go and just ends up googling something like "dentists in havelock area". Johnson Family Dentistry gets 5 stars all around from the receptionists, to the dental hygienists

Friendly, beautiful office with a great staff. We moved this past year because of the military and this is a great, family run office. All three of my children had great experiences. Dr. Johnson took extra time to show and explain everything related to each child's teeth and ensure that we all understood any suggested procedures. I highly recommend Johnson Family Dentistry.
