Dr. Day graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2000. Prior to dental school, she attended the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies. She was in practice as a dentist in the Research Triangle Park area from 2000 until 2005, when she moved back to Morehead City to open her current practice.

I grew up in the Charlotte, NC area. My dental hygiene degree was obtained through Central Piedmont in Charlotte, NC. My husband, Paul, and I have two boys, both married. The oldest one lives here with his family and the youngest is still in Charlotte with his family. We have 3 grandchildren, one boy and two girls.
