I have a lot of nice things to say about Mac automotive. (And I'm not being paid to write this. :) )
First, a short summary.
Mike and his guys rebuilt my '05 Subaru WRX with amazing success. My engine blew up six months ago and Mike pulled it out and sent it to a machine shop to be rebuilt. Most mechanics would never do that. They put it back together and there have been zero problems! No check engine lights, no leaks or funny noises. Zero problems. Mike is a great guy and an excellent mechanic. He always calls to let you know what your options are BEFORE doing any work. And he has frequently been able to fix a problem for LESS than he originally thought. This summer, they repaired the linkage in my transmission rather than ordering a new part. That saved me a couple of hundred dollars. If you want an honest mechanic that does good work at a fair price with excellent customer service, this is the place. I've been taking my car here for a few years now and I'm a satified customer.
