Great local mechanic, with very good customer service. When a neighbor mentioned my light might be out, I went there and they checked it out. They checked my oil (I mentioned I was going on a trip, but was due for a change), and removed the dead leaves under the hood (and noted that they typically clean that out during the oil change and why it's good to remove that stuff). Then sent me on my way. No up-charges, treats everyone with respect, really knowledgeable, and informative. Nice to know places like this still exist!

Had the dreaded check engine light go off in my car, had to take it to them twice. The first time there, they cleared the light and it didn't return even after a road test. They did not charge me the first time since all they did was clear the alert and perform a road test. After picking up the car about 5 miles later, the CEL returned. After the second time, they told me I needed timing and solenoid work done to a tune of $2,500, JQ charged me $110 for the diagnostics. Since there were other issues, I would estimate the total cost to fix the car to be more than the car itself. JQ did not pressure

My new go-to shop. I've needed a few repairs this year on my older Civic. Exhaust system, belts, thermostat. Jim found my muffler was still under warranty, which saved me $$. The belts I'd heard squeal but forgotten about.
I'd been driving around with a phantom noise that never showed itself on road tests. Jim was kind enough to go for another. This time he heard it, diagnosed it & fixed it. Did the trick.
Little to no wait at the shop, they keep appointments, fair pricing, accurate diagnoses & your car is done when promised.

I have had nothing but excellent experiences here. The first time I brought my car in for an oil change they put on my front license plate that I needed done as a courtesy--one of them saw my plate just sitting on the floor of the front passenger seat that I was just not getting around to doing. I thought that was so nice and didn't even charge me for it. Right off the bat I knew I was gonna like this place. I've been ripped off in the past and never go into any auto shop without being extremely skeptical.

Posting for a friend. Horrible place. Took almost 3 weeks to fix my friends car and it still doesn't work so her husband brought it back. Why? I dont know they claim it will be another 3 weeks to fix. They don't offer a loaner car or a rental, so she has to go with out a car for almost 2 months? That's ridiculous. I recommend another Automotive repair shop in town that's 10x better than this place.

I would recommend JQ to anyone needing a great mechanic at a great price. I am extremely pleased with the job done on my car.

Exceptional mechanics. Happy to explain and discuss my concerns, as needed. Easy to get an appointment in the timeframe needed. A very organized shop. The jobs got done on time and within the original estimated price. They are not cheap, but I am very pleased with the work they've done. I highly recommend them.

Took my car here, Jim seemed really helpful/knowledgeable and didn't push me to get more services than I needed. My only complaint is there's no waiting area to speak of. There are a lot of stores and eateries around to kill time but I prefer to wait in an air-conditioned area with free wifi. Overall though I was happy with my experience.

I highly recommend them. Trustworthy pros who know what they are doing and are extremely reliable. I've been driving for 16 years and my cars have been almost completely trouble free (knock on wood), which I attribute a lot to the work and maintenance I get done by JQ. If you are going to trust a random review you read on the internet, make sure it's this one and go to JQ.
