Whether you're new to therapy, or just new to us, we understand that seeking counseling services can seem overwhelming, confusing, and even a little scary. This is completely natural for a new experience.

Taking Control is a therapy private practice that provides counseling services for families, couples, and individuals of all ages. We compassionately guide each client to find solutions that work for them. Counseling and guidance assistance is provided for individuals, or for the entire family, as needed.
Regardless of the kind of group that is offered, the nature of being in a group setting can provide you with a few things. First and foremost, the sense that you are not alone! It will add so much clarity for you about how many others deal with similar struggles or issues. Secondly, the group can become a supportive network for you to rely on when facing some of life's difficult challenges.
Taking Control Counseling Services is proud to be extending it's mental health services to include Intensive Outpatient Programs for current and new clients. These programs provide an extended level of care beyond individual therapy and serve as an intermediary between outpatient and inpatient services.

I've had one session and it's been downhill ever since. There was a billing dispute due to the "office manager. We have been having a lot of changes to our billing and she has been overwhelmed with that right now so it could take a while". Been trying to get in touch with Adam Maldonado for a while. My last email to him was on 2/3/2021 with no response. I called and left a message on his mailbox on 2/9/2021 with no response. It is now 2/17/2021. I just called and left a message in the general mailbox hoping someone gets back to me. I'm trying to see if I have an outstanding balance since that was
