I provide clients a comfortable atmosphere in which to work on the problems that have brought you to counseling. I am casual in style, but I take very seriously your needs and my role in providing you the best assistance I can. I bring more than 25 years of experience, training and ethical practice to each client I have seen, ranging in age from 18 to 60+.

Most clients enter counseling experiencing stress, anxiety or depression symptoms. We work together to get to the root causes and find solutions. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, I completed my Master's in Social Work from Loyola University in Chicago. I am licensed by the State of Illinois for clinical practice in social work-License #149.001385.
Services
Counseling, coaching, or psychotherapy are collaborative endeavors. I work with each client to assess what you want to see happen and how I can channel our sessions toward the goals we identify together. Insight-oriented psychotherapy: Provides a deeper look at patterns of behaviors that are unconsciously driven.
Higher education has its own unique demands, culture, and environment. Most of my years of counseling have been spent on college campuses. I have consulted with and counseled many faculty and staff members when crises have occurred, when a student's behavior is causing problems, or when a campus political situation caused significant stress.
