My name is Yunyan (Tracy) Shen. I am an American Board Certified Orthodontist. I truly enjoy in creating beautiful, confident, and healthy smiles with braces and Invisalign! I completed my doctor of dental surgery degree and advanced post-doctoral specialty training in Orthodontics at Columbia University.
Our staff is very friendly, trained, talented, and skilled. We strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our clinical team is a registered assistant (RDA), and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education programs.
Successful orthodontic treatment is the result of teamwork. Achieving healthy, beautiful smiles requires a partnership that involves the orthodontist, the family dentist, the orthodontic staff, the patient, and the parents. The orthodontist provides the expertise, the treatment plan and the techniques to straighten teeth and align jaws.
Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet us, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. Provide a complete oral exam, with X-rays, to determine if orthodontic treatment is recommended;. Dr. Shen will answer any clinical questions you may have and provide you with all of the information you need to determine which treatment is right for you.

I highly recommend Suncreek Orthodontics! Dr. Shen and her team are the best. She listened to every concerns I had, and took care immediately. They always welcomed with big smiles with no waiting time. I got pregnant during the treatment, and I had bad morning sickness. The staff was so nice, and she asked me if I was feeling ok while I got the adjustment. I wish I could have done all of my treatment here, but I had to move to the other state. Dr. Shen was first recommended by our pediatric dentist in 2018. I have visited her clinic twice before I made the decision to have Dr. Shen to be my son's Orthodontist. My son started the Invisalign treatment in early 2019 and just removed recently. We are very happy with the result and the pain-free experience for past one whole year for my young boy.

I would definitely recommend Suncreek orthodontics to anyone. Dr. Shen is amazing! I had a great experience and love my new smile. Her office works with you and are open on Saturdays. Dr. Shen and her staff make you feel comfortable and are very professional.

We LOVE Dr. Shen at Suncreek Orthodontics! While other orthodontists recommended surgery for my daughter, Dr. Shen recommended trying a more natural approach first. It worked! Not only was it cheaper and less painful for my daughter, but she will get her braces off earlier than expected. On top of this, the staff is wonderful! We’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes. My daughter says she loves that they are “gentle and nice”. We couldn’t be happier!

Amazing! First visit I brought two of my kids in and just loved the Orthodentist and her assistants. Super friendly and kind. Her assistant Sally was patient with my family and called me back regarding all the questions I had. Today is my second visit and we decided to put both kids in braces. Doctor and her assistance were so patient, while we got my kids' teeth cleaned and were cleared next door for no cavities. I can already tell that this journey will be a great one in achieving the perfect smile for my kids. I would recommend this office to anyone!

This office is fantastic! I love them!! We've been seeing Dr. Shen for the past year or so, in preparation for my son to get braces. We had "monitoring" appointments every 6 months and we finally reached the right time for installation. So, he got his braces put on today.
I must say Dr. Shen and her team have been very caring and accommodating through the entire journey!! The staff is always wonderful to work with and appointment scheduling is very easy and accommodating with early and late hours, as well as Saturday appointments.

My daughter was fitted for braces by Dr. Shen in August of 2017. We've had a great experience so far. Dr. Shen is patient and explains things well to me and my daughter. She is very caring. Her office is new and cheery. My daughter loves to watch movies when she is there, and it's very handy to be able to brush right there when appointments are right after school. Her team is great and welcoming!

I bring my family to Dr. Shen, and she is awesome! My kids love coming in, because the team is always nice and understanding. They explain everything and all the options, and there is no pressure. Dr. Shen is knowledgeable, gentle, professional, and very detail oriented. She was very thorough when explaining the different treatment options to me and always takes the time to explain what she is doing at every visit. Dr. Shen has made having braces as an adult a very pleasurable experience and I'm so thankful that I found her.
