I really thought the staff was awesome and very professional. BUT the Dr herself was rude and very short when spoken to. And the choice of frames I was offered was 6 of the ugliest I have EVER seen. I guess since I have MEDI-CAL Im not entitled to frames that fit my face or look good. When I did pick up my glasses for the first time the chubby girl just gave them to me with a little cloth. No case, no trying the glasses on no nothing.......I wont being referring this business or coming back.

Dr. Chae is amazing! I rarely post reviews but Dr. Chae deserves all the recognition. Not only were here staff friendly and attentive, but Dr. Chae herself was also very patient and knowledgeable. I got both an eye exam and contacts fitting exam. She took the time to listen to my concerns and based on her recommendations, you know that she is an expert in the field. Thankful to have found an optometrist that I can trust! I live in LA, but the trek is definitely worth the drive! Will be coming to her in the future!

Went today as a new patient well al I can say they are very nice on the phone.... but in person they are well uhhh idk I wanted to get my reading glasses lense done and get another pair to drive the doctor said I can use the same old one I had for more than 5 years and they will prescribe another one for driving but she gave me for driving and not for reading and also my mom came she was waiting for me in the waiting room got a phone call she was very quiet and a lady that works there approach her saying if u gonna be talking on the phone you need to get out and talk outside. which is ridiculous

Two complaints:
1. A family emergency ocurred and I had to reschedule twice, they said my deposit would be lost because of it and I tried & tried until they finally gave me another appointment but very rude about it.
2. When I finally got to go, the exam was done and I asked the doctor (Eunmi Chae) kindly to show me glasses and her respone was, and I qoute: "Of course, I can show you glases, ONLY if you BUY the one i show you, if you're not going to buy, then no".
I was shocked and just said okay and left, and the way she said it was very mean, she even started to laugh about it, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Both times I've gone they are amazing! If you've worn glasses as long as I have, you know how frustrating it can be to navigate your vision insurance - what's covered, how much certain brands of frames are vs. others, the types of lenses, etc.
Here, when you finish with your exam they have a file all prepared for you with what's covered and point out the locations of different frames, and are great at helping you select a stylish fit that's within your budget as well as determine what coatings, lens thickness etc. works for you. Their customer service is so detailed they will also point out nuance

The assistant wanted me to sign a refusal for dilation because it was to late. Whaat? She is the one refusing...Shady

I love Dr. Chae and her entire staff! I have been going there for at least 5 years now and they never ever disappoint! They have an excellent selection for faces and styles of all kind, although I am partial to their designer choices (especially the Persols and Chanel.) I'm Korean so I have a rounder face and a button nose, and they are so great at helping me find glasses that fit me. My entire family now goes to Dr. Chae and we all have bought glasses and sunglasses from her. I 💯 wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The doctor is very nice, however I would never return to this office. The office goes out of the way to try and force you to pay for services that are not medically necessary or trick you into paying for the more expensive option. Went back and forth with them several times for refusing to honor a refill for my contact prescription (which they had issued) because they said it was almost expired (not expired, almost expired). Clearly, they are in it to squeeze every dollar out of you, not offer the best medical care to fit their patients. Very disappointing.
