Our optometrists at Optikos Optometry provide a variety of eye care services in Los Angeles. If you live in or around Los Angeles and it has been a while since your last eye exam, contact our team today to schedule an appointment with one of our eye doctors. Routine eye exams should occur yearly for most people and bi-yearly for some.
Squinting at computer, tablet, or mobile screens for hours at a time is a normal part of our lives in the 21st century. Unfortunately, eye problems associated with this activity are also on the rise. Even if you have never had eye problems before, you may have noticed computer vision syndrome symptoms after two or more hours of screen time.
Do you feel pain in your eyes or headaches and migraines after reading or using digital devices for long periods? When we focus on close-range objects for extended periods, sometimes our eyes may get misaligned, causing eye pain, headaches, and sometimes even dizziness. Neurolenses can correct this problem.

They said that my insurance covered the visit and the contacts so I booked the visit a month in advance. I followed the instructions from the eye insurance company to call them ahead of time to find out if my insurance was accepted. My daughter and my roommate need eye exams also. I walked 20 minutes from my home in the heat to the appointment. When I got there I was told that they did not accept my insurance. I would have to pay for it and then do a super bill. It seemed like a set up. I will not go back. Expect to pay for services and if you have insurance they may try to have you pay anyway

My first time to be here but I will surely be coming back in the future. They are very well organized from the time you schedule an appointment up to the time you come back for your prescription glasses. The optometrist took lengthy time in discussing my concerns and with the eye examination itself. They don’t let you wait for long like some other offices. They give you options on how and what you want and most of all on what you can afford. If you have concerns, they respond to their phone system via text very quickly. Validated parking is very convenient as well knowing it is in the K-town

Made an appt to get an eye exam for my prescription lenses. As soon as I enter I am almost immediately seen by Christine Chen who performed the exam and she was so super sweet and friendly. She answered all the questions I had and even informed me of information I did not know regarding the health of my eyes. The gentleman who handled my payment was also super friendly. The place is sooo nice and looks very clean, highly recommend this place for eye exams

Dr. Christine Hur was very friendly and professional. She checked my vision with ease. The staff was also friendly and helped me to settle on a frame while explaining to me my options. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of glasses. Prices were reasonable with my Met Life insurance. Can't wait to get my prescriptions in 2.5 weeks.

This is my first time trying contacts and I was very impressed with their patience and explanations. Also I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 8 and no one has ever explained things to me to the extent they have. On this visit I got free trial contacts and I was able to order glasses. I don’t have the glasses yet as I just ordered them but I am sure they will be great.
I am from east coast and this is honestly the best customer service I’ve experienced on the west coast so far. They answered all of my questions and everyone was very nice and patient and I will go back there for all of my

If you are on a budget, this may not be the place for you as sometimes it is a little bit expensive. Otherwise, they have a really fine collection of brands of a lot. Examples include Oakley, Ray Ban, and Chanel. The exam is simple and easy. Optometrists are really nice. Took one week for my prescription glasses to be ready which is not bad. Limited Space for parking outside so its better to use the garage which is located on Serrano Avenue.
