Experience is a bit meh. Felt like visiting a correction center or something. The doors are locked. Camera outside. You'll have to call the # posted on door to be let in. If you don't have appointment, you're going to be turned away.

Upon entering I’m feeling as though this I place if client focused vs clock watching. The employees took care of me , made me aware of refraction protocols.
The Dr. tested my eyes. I didn’t need glasses but has another issue that she advised me on treating.
Everyone is nice. I’m a disabled vet and visit a lot of doctor’s offices for other issues. Sunset Optical place wants you to be happy and go out of their way to earn your trust and business. I’m rating them top marks. Thank you.

I love the care and attention Dr. Canlas provides. She is patient, answers your questions and listens to your concerns. I never feel like I'm being rushed through the office and I also have never felt pressured to buy glasses at their office, though I am so satisfied with their service, I always do. The frame selection is sufficient for me and they carry a good range of prices. Some of the most popular frames sell out quickly, so I always ask for a copy of my prescription so I can buy a backup pair later. Highly recommend Dr. Canlas!

Vaccinated and with the school year ending, I finally went to the optometrist to get more contacts. SOC was a well-run machine and went very smoothly. I wish there was more shade on the Sunset sidewalk to make waiting outside more comfortable, but I also wish LA had more clouds. I have been going here 5 years and have obviously been happy each time.
