Through a process of getting to know you and your family and by asking you a few questions as to your preferences, we select a caregiver who would make a good match. We base that on our familiarity with the caregiver's personality, where he/she lives, whether he/she has a car, and many other criteria that enable us, more often than not, to make the right selection from the very start.

Delta Home Care took care of my grandfather and the process of care being rendered to our family has exceeded my expectations. The care team and the agency are making sure that communication between the family and the caregivers is the priority of this agency. Questions are being answered whenever we have problems. The staff at Delta home care are the best!!...They answered the phone and right away made me feel so comfortable and they were very helpful in helping me make hard decisions on the care for my mother. Awful company! We signed my 85 year old father up with their service. 2 days per week, 4 hours per day. It worked great for 3 weeks, then they had to change caregiver. Not a prob. That worked for a week before we had 3 no show appointments. My dad made doctors appointments for the days someone was scheduled to come. He called the supervisor when caregiver didn't show up. After the second no show, the supervisor committed to come on the next scheduled day to take my dad to his appointment. The supervisor didn't come on the scheduled day. Ridiculous way to treat older clients or any client

I have to give Delta Home Care five stars. They came into a very tough situation and was able to turn it around in a relatively short time. My friend was bedridden and soiled. Delta's careful management and attentiveness during the transition from the prior company led to a plan of care that now has my friend walking around his entire home, only being in bed at night, making all doctor's appointments, actively watching TV and listening to books on tape. We had a very difficult time finding the right caregiver for dad. He is really particular about how people behave around him after the stroke. He referred to one of his first caregiver as Nurse Ratched. Delta spent more than enough time on us to find the right people to take care of dad, and we're grateful. He won't allow us to do it because he is the provider. It really meant a lot that Delta's staff befriended dad and got a feeling for who would be best to take care of him. Highly recommended.

To be honest, I called Delta Home Care out of sheer desperation. My Dad had been living with us for a couple of years and everything was fine up until he had problem walking and have trouble getting up after lying down. It left him on one side and left me struggling to take care of him and still work full-time. I was quickly overwhelmed and started searching for anything or anyone that could help me. Taking care of my Grandmother (over the course of many years) for me was a delightful duty which turned into more than a full time job for both my Mother and I. We didn't want to give in, but there did come a time when it was emotionally too much for us to handle. My Grandmother, Lucy, had dementia and Parkinson's and eventually needed round the clock care. My Mother and I being overwhelmed finally decided we needed to consider homecare. I want to write a thank you to everyone at Delta Home Care for all they have done over these last few months, as they have been hard. My grandmother suffers from a number of health issues, chiefly related to alcohol abuse since the death of her husband years ago. A stroke finally left her with limited use of her left arm. My father and I knew she couldn't live alone anymore, but were also aware she would never cooperate with going to a nursing home. I moved to San Diego two years ago for two reasons: For a change and to be near my elderly Great aunt who's essentially my grandma. For about a year I visited daily and helped her with all of her day to day activities. As time went on I realized she really needed more care than I could provide. With all of our family back in Chicago I had to do all of the leg work. When I found Delta Home Care it was like the stars aligned! Everyone at Delta was so helpful and accommodating- most importantly everyone treats my Auntie like a human being. I've never once felt that there is anything suspicious

Delta helped me find a caregiver for my uncle who was very resistant to accepting the fact that he needs help with certain aspects of his day. It meant a lot that Delta 's people focused on building rapport with him and not just me and my cousins. Delta worked with all of us to land on the right caregiver, and he's really happy right now.

This is a great company. My grandpa was in need of home care because my grandma was unable to take care if him anymore due to old age so we got a hold of delta home care. They were able to provide us a great caregiver that we can trust to take care of my grandpa. Communication with this company was great. They're always available when we need to talk to them and when not they always call back within a reasonable amount of time. I really trust this company and would recommend this company to friends who have relatives who are in need of home care.

My grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer and his health has started deteriorating but we did not want to send him to a nursing home and Delta Home Care has provided us with a great care taker to help out when the rest of the family goes to work. This has provided my grandma with some relief as she was getting old as well and hard for her to take care of my grandpa on her own. We now as a family can go to work knowing that my grandpa is being taken care of while we are away from home. This is all thanks to the help that Delta Home Care has provided us.
