Established in 1990, Barbara's Childcare was founded in the home of owner and director, Barbara Hunt, and then moved into a center on Carlton Street. Barbara's Childcare Center has been in business for over 24+ years, and is a licensed facility. The structure of the business is centered around a family like experience.
Currently, we provide care to children ages 6wks to 12 years old. The programs offered include infant care, preschool age care, and before and after school care. During the summer, there is a structured, and enriched summer program. The preschool children ranging from ages 2yrs to 5yrs, provides curriculum to prepare the children for entrance into preschool and Kindgergaten curriculum within the school system.

Services
Parents are informed about their childs progress and interactions every step of the way. There will be information provided on any special events and or fieldtrips provided to the children. The handbook provides the detailed policies. We are able to accept payments using cash, money order, personal check, and debit and or credit cards.

We LOVE Barbara's childcare! First of all, they are the only affordable child care center that offers part time anywhere. Second, they're amazing! They treat my children so warmly. Both of my kids love the staff. They have learning time and as a result my kiddo is learning to read. They're so warm and kind.
