Dr. Clayton Frenzel is one of only a handful of surgeons in the country that is both a Fellowship Trained Bariatric Surgeon and a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon. He specializes in bariatric surgery and post-bariatric reconstructive cosmetic plastic surgery.

Bianca is the Patient Coordinator for BodEvolve in Arlington. She meets with BodEvolve patients on their initial consultation with Dr Frenzel and she will be one of your main contacts while you are getting ready for your surgery or procedure. Javier is the Practice Administrator. When he's not working on the financials at his desk, you can find him making sure Dr. Frenzel and the staff have everything they need to keep up the busy pace.

He performs all the various bariatric weight loss operations and believes that there is not one operation that is right for everyone. Dr. Frenzel is also a referral source for many complicated patients that may need revisional surgery.
The Realize adjustable gastric band is a surgical method of weight loss designed to achieve gradual results. While it is similar to the Lap Band, the Realize Band has a wider range of adjustment to minimize stretching. Surgical placement of a Realize Band is intended to safely promote weight loss and improve the patient's quality of life, while preventing/resolving disorders related to obesity.

I am writing this review because I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Frenzel and his staff. I do not usually write reviews. My name is Natalie Hickson-Streeter and I am 3 weeks post op and couldn't be happier. I went to consult and Dr. Frenzel and staff were very attentive and not pushy. He recommended mini tummy tuck or liposuction. I opted for lipo due to personal reasons not price. My experience was awesome and I would recommend this to my BFF or mother. You are just a number. You get tossed around from one person to the next. You leave messages that go weeks without a response. I will not get surgery here because of Kim and Trevor. Dr. Frenzel is a surgical assembly line. There are a lot of surgeons in this area. Don't bring your business to someone who doesn't want it. I had the money to pay cash this year. I told them that and never heard from Trevor or Kim or Javier again.

My wife had an appointment 3 weeks ago today and was told by Heather to call back in a week to check on insurance. She had left numerous messages BUT had never received a return call. She doesn't want to find another surgeon because she likes Dr. Frenzel, however, the staff isn't making that very easy. Has anyone else had any issues trying to get through and talking to ANYONE at the office? She has called all days of the week and all hours of the work day. She wants to change this to a 5 star, but no communication at all is making this very difficult.

Excellent experience, excellent staff. I can’t recommend this office enough. Dr. Frenzel, Henry, Carli, JT, and Kae are all amazing! From the word go they have taken excellent care of me. Carli personally hand walked my approval through the insurance company and without that I don’t think I’d be happily sitting here recovering from my body lift today. Dr. Frenzel did excellent work, I am so excited to see the true unveiling of my new body once fully healed but I am already in love and feeling 100% more confident. JT and Henry have been awesome with my aftercare and have followed up with me

Dr. Frenzel and his team have been helpful from start to finish. Always on top on keeping me up to date on follow ups and answering any questions I may have. My surgery was a huge success and am happy with the outcome. I am going on 3 years and have continued to keep the weight off. I had been wanting to get the gastric sleeve surgery done for years, but due to my insurance excluding the surgery, I was not able to have the surgery. I was then referred to Dr. Frenzel in April 2019, who worked with me and provided me with a cash price for the surgery. I met with Dr. Frenzel and his staff and I was able to schedule my surgery. It was the best decision I ever made. Dr. Frenzel’s bed side manner was excellent and his staff is always kind and friendly, always confirming my follow up appointments and willing to work with my schedule. I was amazed that on some of my follow-up visits

I had Muscle Repair, lipo,and tummy tuck on Jan 9th 2020. DR. Frenzel was phenomenal. His bedside service is impeccable. I wanted to have the surgery before my bday. He cleared a spot for me at a surgical center. I was the only patient there. I felt like Queen of the Day. My results are amazing. I had very little pain. I'm only 6wpo. I went back to work in 2weeks. He was thorough through the whole process and made sure I understood. Even Henry is Awesome. Thank you Dr. Frenzel for getting my to the flat side!!!

ARLINGTON LOCATION: has been 10 months since I had surgery and I hate how it turned out. The staff does not return calls nor schedule you to been seen after Surgery. The machines are always down and the staff do not call to cancel your appointment, you find out when you get there. Dr. Frenzel is good, but I expected a way better experience. Watch the pricing because it does change. Make sure you are satisfied with your procedure. I have yet to receive a call regarding my procedure after I stated my issues and concerns.

I started my experience with Dr. Frenzel for a lapband removal procedure. Because of the expectation of needing to do a revision and go from lapband to sleeve the process of getting getting insurance to cover the procedure took about 3 months. Dr. Frenzel's office was amazing and managed to get the 2 procedures (removal and sleeve) covered 100%. I was about to give up when the office called and said that the procedures would be covered and we could schedule.
