If you are the recipient of a gift certificate, please bring the certificate with you and present it to the front desk staff before your services start. We regret that the spa is not responsible for lost items. Please leave your valuables at home. We require 24 hours notice for individual services and 48 hours notice for packages.

Designed to accomodate the most active of lifestyles. 100% human hair (for tangle free styling) can be permed or coloured, before or after application. No hot waxes or glues to harm or damage hair. Hair extensions of human hair strands bonded to natural hair to add length, thickness and colour to your hair.

This treatment includes a warm conditioning soak, re-shaping nails, cleaning cuticle area, buffing to a shine and finishing with a deep hand massage and your choice of polish. In preparation for my wedding next year I wanted to look into getting hair extensions. Working with the owner, Patricia, was amazing! She's extremely knowledgable and helped me choose the right type of extension for my fine, easily breakable hair. Would highly recommend this salon. Make sure you get extensions only through a licensed hairstylist like Patricia as it makes a massive difference in the quality and longevity of your hair.

Great place to go. Jade has cut my hair for years and frankly I am quite picky who cuts my hair. Very skilled hair designer. Carmichael's itself is very clean and welcoming. Confident in the way they take care of everyone's safety (staff and clients). Definitely a positive on Main Street.

I made a last minute appointment to lighten my dark long hair..from the reception that took my information to my stylist Jessica, I had a great experience and I’ll tell you why...both Jessica and Patricia’s enthusiasm and attention to detail made me not only comfortable and feel that I’m at the right place but their excitement got me excited:) I love what Jessica did for me and I will be back soon for phase two!! Thank you Carmichael for the great service you offer...I think I finally found my go to salon!

I was recommended Carmichael Hair Design by a relative and decided to give it a try... And it was an amazing experience not only do they validate your feelings of anxiety (I am very picky of who I let do my hair) but they also take their time to make sure you really love the results! I have booked with Jade twice and will continue to come back. She is worth the drive from Scarborough ☺️ her attention to details and her patience with my hard to color hair (we did it tho!) she was able to create something fun and beautiful!! Amazing place better staff!

I saw Patricia today for the first time for a cut and colour. Sophie was terrific and answered all of my questions when I booked. The salon is very clean, welcoming and professional. I was thrilled with my new look and would highly recommend Patricia. Looking forward to my next visit!

I am extremely happy with my experience at Carmichaels! I was looking for a salon closer to home for all my hair needs. Having read reviews I took a leap of faith with Patricia and she exceeded my expectations on all levels. My cut and colour is fabulous and my extensions are better than my previous salon that I had been going to for over 4+ years. Patricia takes extra time to ensure that your hair is kept healthy and makes amazing suggestions to create a beautiful look. Her staff are so friendly and welcoming you almost don't want to leave ! I have been going to Carmichael for 10 years and have never been disappointed. Debra does my hair wonderfully, Samantha gives me my spa treatment, Patricia owns/operates the business and also does hair both with great attention, and Sophie keeps everyone on schedule. I highly recommend this salon for women and men.

I cant even describe my tender feelings about this salon. I met Patricia, about 5 years ago and she has cared for me over the past five years, and she is just so incredibly loving and understanding I am so honored to have her care for me the way she does. My hair had been thinning out we tried so many solutions to help grow my hair back and with… care and nutritional changes we have managed to stabilize the loss. I am a Makeup Artist in the fashion community in Toronto and to have my hair balding and looking thin in photos on the job or on the red carpets made me feel less confident about

Sophie offers you a coffee or tea, to your liking, with a cookie on the side when you first arrive and are seated. They all treat you fabulous.
They have been doing my hair for over 25 years and I would not go anywhere else. The products they use are the most expensive and they do not short change you on anything. All they stylists are professionals, trained in the most current trends and styles.
Jessica has been doing my hair for at least 15 years and I adore her. I always walk out looking great!
