We are a small privately owned and operated Family Dental Practice, located in Largo, FL. Dr. Tyler Baker, DMD was raised in the Tampa Bay Area and is proud to call this place his home. Throughout his education, Tyler has remained local, attending Clearwater High School, followed by USF in Tampa, and finally LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton. He is known for his gentle and efficient expertise and making your comfort a main concern.
We are not on any restricted provider lists. However, if you have insurance we will gladly submit your claim on your behalf, you are responsible for the difference insurance doesn't pay. Our freedom from being "in-network" allows our dental treatment to remain affordable and efficient, for patients with and without insurance.

My beloved dentist Charles Martin died about 10 or so years ago I didn’t trust anyone else. I was having awful problems with my mouth I really was terrified of going to the dentist. I heard about Dr. Baker via my son whose girlfriend was his assistant so I bit the bullet and went to see him fully expecting him to tell me that they all needed to be pulled and I needed dentures. What a relief to only need some extractions and a partial denture!! Dr. Baker is a godsend. He made me very comfortable and relaxed.

Dr. Baker is Excellent! He's professional, kind, gentle, high tech., empathetic to patient needs and does great work! His dental assistant, Miss Soo is wonderful, warm and friendly too. Miss Jennifer at the front desk, who manages everything else, makes you feel like one of the family the moment you walk through the door with her warm & friendly customer service. I could not have asked for better treatment! I highly recommend Dr. Tyler Baker, DMD family & General Dentistry !

I have always had severe dental anxiety, and I was always so scared to go, so I was recommended Dr.Baker. The minute I stepped into his office it went away. He is very kind, nice, professional & very friendly. He never once made me feel judged & is an honest guy & does whatever he can to put you at ease. I love going to the dentist now. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

After 52 years of practicing general dentistry, I decided to retire in January of 2020 (just before the pandemic struck). Having known many good general dentists in my career, the decision to find a successor for my patients (many of whom had become close friends ) was something I gave great thought to. I highly recommend Dr Tyler Baker to everyone. He’s an excellent dentist! I had tooth extraction by him because it’s the only alternative for my case. I did not feel any pain at all, even before the anesthesia, his assistant (An Asian girl, sorry I dint get her name) was very caring & so reassuring that calmed my nerves, then during & after the procedure both of them kept explaining to me what was happening & I just felt a little pressure during the process & for all I knew all 4 teeth was gone! We moved to FL a year ago and needed a new dentist. I found good reviews about Dr. Baker on Next Door, and confirmed by Google. But, then we went for our cleaning and I don't think 5 stars is enough.
Dr. Baker does the initial teeth cleaning of new patients himself so he can fully assess your teeth. I have NEVER had a dentist do that in my life. In addition, he confirmed that he is not one of these guys that tries to sell you on borderline procedures you don't really need. (I have had dentists like that in the past). So, luckily I did not need any work, but I have definitely found my dentist.
