I’m actually shocked how horrible they treat their patients. I witnessed the negligence first hand. Waiting area is horrible to the point someone passed out because of long waits after their surgery today!!!!! They also never filled this patients pain meds so they suffered for 24 hours SMH!!! That’s unacceptable. I was hoping to go soon but it wouldn’t be to Mia Aesthetics. Do better especially when people are paying you their hard earned money.

Have been calling for well over 3 weeks about my surgery with no calls or emails back. My “contract” is up in April, but have yet to call me back with a booking date after already paying a deposit. Save your money, and go else where. Will be contacting small claims if this does not get handled quickly. I’m at a loss with my patience finally.

Next to impossible to get ahold of. Read their reviews on all websites and surgery blogs. Can’t believe they haven’t been shut down.

My friend went in alive and healthy for a bbl in 2019. To come out dead!! This place has no morals and is money hungry. They killed my friend rushing her procedure so they can get as many girls in that day!!

BEWARE If they cancel your surgery or you have an unforeseen medical issue and they still have to cancel on you. They will not return your calls to reschedule or refund your money back . STAY AWAY read all the comments on BBB and YELP. They treat you like heard cows in an assembly line. Don't return your calls but quick to take your money. Even the girls the day of surgery told me they would never have surgery there and that they do get a lot of complaints about customer service. Save the time for headaches and running around. I don't understand why all the negative reviews. I had an amazing experience my surgeon was Dr. Mehio 10/20/2021 everything ran smoothly. Anytime I had a question it was answered and if they didn't know the answer to it they would find someone who did. I love MIA aesthetics and if I ever decide to have more done I will come back for sure! loving my results so far. Everyone was so friendly even the day of surgery I felt they treated me like royalty. I have not one complain to give. All I got to say is everyone is different and some people's results will vary don't make your decision based on someone

I am scheduled with Dr. Bowker on 1/10/22. I love his work and it is within my price range to invest in myself. The entire process this far has been extremely draining. Just to get ahold of someone for a consult took a ridiculously long time. Once I did, the consult consisted of just sending pictures and not actually speaking with the doctor. I have had plastic surgery in the past and I have always spoken with the doctor. Then I was rushed to hurry and book while also not being sent the correct invoice and having a team member responding in a rude tone. The labs I was to get done were not clear

Never again! Trying too charge me to remove the BBL package that comes with the massages and I never even asked for the package! The put it on the invoice without asking me and then want too charge $300 too remove it. They definitely just want money from people. Can’t even get in contact with them most of the time. I haven’t paid in full yet and have not received the products nor massages and they want me too pay $300 to remove. Yeah lol. They’re a joke.
I’ll get my surgery and then I’m done with them for sure.

I have to be totally honest. I have been in the surgery community for a long time. I reached out to a few clinics and Mía was the BEST! The customer service was Phenomenal.. I feel so comfortable and would not book anywhere else! Thank you Mía..

I drove 4 hours for an in office consultation with Dr. Cherapoo on 11/09 He was very nice and we discussed exactly what scar I wanted removed He wrote everything up and said his team would contact me It's December 9th and I've been calling profusely trying to get pricing and schedule. I can't get any information and no one will call me back regarding my visit. Gena the surgical coordinator keeps emailing me about a freakin BBL. That's not what I came to consult about. I am pissed off because I took time off work and waited two months for this appointment only to end up back

While the doctors may be good. people that work in their office just steals your money. They book you and cancel you and take your money. Dont take my word for it check out the rating on BBB.

Mia Aesthetics is a TERRIBLE company to do business with and I highly recommend anyone who values professionalism and communication to continue their search for a doctor. I feel I’ve only been Continually scammed out of money by them. Their highest priority is how much money they can make off of you, not you or your health. One of the biggest regrets financially. Terrible practice! My rating is 0! 

Mia staff and Dr. Bowker exceeded my expectations and made the whole experience like a dream come true. From consultation to the nurses and front desk reps and awesome doctor and let’s not forget the anesthesiologist, wow they were extraordinary. My husband and I are just extremely happy and amazed.

I was on the phone with someone and I've now been denied being able to have a procedure done cause of my past I didn't understand. I admitted my fault and how I was a past drug abuser and I want some cosmetic surgery, then told sorry we can no longer go any further with you as a patient! Excuse me what? I've never ever been told such a thing or been so insulted. I struggle with my past and opening up and then to face another set back like such is a slap in the face!

I wish I could give them a NEGATIVE Star because that's what they deserve!!! This was my 1st time trying to get the BBL and it was a horrible experience! The team in Austin is unprepared unprofessional. I told the nurse I was allergic to penicillin and she prescribed me penicillin. When I took my pre op pics I disrobed and the nurse sat there in the room and watched me get undressed. The day I show up to surgery, there was 10 t0 12 women in the lobby all had their surgery and one was bleeding and dropping fluids on the floor! She said she was feeling faint and NO ONE went to assist her. Needless

I am not happy with my results AT ALL! Not to mention the service you receive as a patient is terrible. I felt like just another number. I felt like my procedure was rushed. You can only speak to the Dr. the day of your surgery and very quickly at your first post-op appointment, that's it. Maybe the other doctors are better but my experience was the worst experience I've ever had as a patient. I stayed at their recommended recovery house called Plush Wellness and they were terrible as well. I paid for the presidential suite and I regret EVERY DIME!!!! I had the absolute worst experience with Mia Aesthetics in Austin Texas. They are a plastic surgery mill and they don’t optimize or customize the overall patient experience because it’s like a cattle call with all the ladies awaiting surgeries and follow up appointments!
Once your surgery is completed and you end up with complications, it takes… forever for them to get back with you and rectify the issue. So many women, including myself, are left hanging because they refuse to take accountability for their lack of communication and their mistakes and botched services!

Do NOT book here. Look ELSEWHERE. And DO NOT pay for your entire surgery upfront. It is called Mia because they go M.I.A after you pay your deposit. You have to LITERALLY call and email for days sometimes weeks for a response. Coordinators change like days of the week and you will not be notified you will not know who to contact. Its up to you to coordinate yourself. Do NOT book a recovery house through them, they charge an extra 200-300 dollars MORE than it would cost if you booked recovery home on your own. Worse experience ever. Expect to beg for lab paperwork also. Even after getting labs sent

THEY ARE SO RUDE AND NASTY!!!!!! IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO A CONSULTATION FOR 2 WEEKS GOING BACK & fourth!! they hung up on me bc I asked to get someone else. I told her the hour I am at work and she continues to call me at the exact times I told her to not call me. I told her 1-2pm cst she said "okay ill call u back at 5" excuse me????!!!!! Go somewhere else! idc if it is peak season, you treat people better & you take care of your possible clients. I would trust these ppl to do anything especially a surgery!!!

Wasted three days just trying to get a consult. Shifty shady business. Multiple phone calls, messages, broken promises. I finally said screw it and found another doctor. I didn't review at the time because I didn't think it was worth the trouble. But now I hear they're screwing people over again so I wanted people to be aware of my poor experience and to avoid this place like the plague.
