Our hospital is thriving, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate exotics veterinarian to join our team! The ideal candidate would have strong people skills, a positive attitude and would be self-motivated.
The purpose of this position is to assist veterinarians with patient care and treatment, monitor hospitalized pets, maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, perform routine in-house lab work, educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures and assist with surgical procedures.Operates under the supervision of the lead technician and the practice manager.

Since pets age at a much quicker rate than humans, these visits will become increasingly important in early detection of any changes in their health. Our hospital offers treatment for many conditions that can affect your pet. Wellness visits entail a thorough physical exam and all recommended immunizations and can include routine laboratory testing when needed.

It is crucial for all dogs and cats to receive the recommended pet vaccinations for their species. First time i went to Little Silver Animal hospital i have used another local vet for over 15 years.My cat who is 17 yrs old needed attention for her paw. I was pleasantly surprised how helpful and caring the staff was. My poor cat was nervous and they were very understanding. The doctor explained her condition to me and gave me medicine to treat her problem for next two weeks. I was not taken advantage price wise the doctor did not try to push any unnecessary test as some animal hospitals do and i appreciated it. If you have a pet that needs medical attention i would highly recommed Littke Silver

Blown away by the level of care my dog is getting here. I recently switched to Little Silver after being at another vet for 6 years that is two minutes from my house. I now drive 20 minutes each way to go to a vet that cares as much as I do about my little girl. The love they show towards animals is clear, the level of care they give is incredible and the patience with me (never rushed, very thorough, compassionate delivery) is sooooo refreshing. I’m thrilled that this is my new vet. This is the way all animas and owners should be treated!!

The care and compassion at Little Silver Animal Hospital is exceptional. My sweet kitty, Maya had the best care for the past 9 years. When she got sick, the vets helped tremendously with their sound advice and responsiveness. Dr. Stacy and Dr. Fedderson gave my sweet girl the best care and helped me understand her condition. They empowered me to give her the care she needed up until the very end. Once she passed, the entire staff made a very difficult day a little bit easier. I highly recommend them! Dr. Yacowitz and Dr. Regan have been caring for Harlow for 7 years now. They are always spot on with his diagnoses and treatment and I am extremely thankful to them. During a recent visit, my boy was taken… care of with love and patience by Dr. Yacowitz. I recently moved back to the area after living in Hoboken/Jersey City for 10 years. I recently adopted my foster and when We were living in JC the vet said that my dog was aggressive and muzzled him. Also would not let us back unless he was sedated. I was very cautious going to a new vet but when we got to Little Silver Animal Hospital the staff was so friendly and patient with us. When we walked in the room my pup was apprehensive. I was in the room with him and our vet tech and Dr Yakowitz handled him so well. No muzzle, not even a growl and they drew blood and did a full exam. I am so grateful

I’m new to the area and took our pits here for the first time yesterday. What a great experience! The vet was incredibly thorough and patient, and answered all of my questions (she was very funny too)! The medication prices were significantly cheaper than any other vet I’ve been to. Any staff member that we dealt with was really lovely. Definitely going to be continued patients here.

I had found out about Little Silver Animal Hospital from my daughter Tara.I called made an appointment and from that point on it was awesome. Staff was very helpful and understanding. All were friendly and the Dr took his time to explained everything and the plan of action to help my older pet. Dr Stacey Kilcullen and her tech Peter are very caring and were great with my elderly cat. They took the time to listen to my concerns and all of my questions were answered. Front desk staff is very helpful. The office is following CDC guidelines for COVID precautions. Highly recommend LS Animal Hospital!

Had such a fantastic experience at Little Silver Animal Hospital. The process was swift and every single person I came in contact with was unbelievably kind and helpful. The vet was extremely professional and took the time to explain every detail of what my puppy needed and he answered all of my questions. I had to take my pup to Little Silver Animal Hospital today. When we arrived for his appointment, I called from the parking lot so that a vet tech could come out to the car to take him while I waited in the car. After Dr. Regan examined him, she called me to explain everything. I paid the bill (credit card over the phone), then he was carried back… out to my car. I had no problem with any of this. The doctors and staff are safe (as well as the pet owners). All in all, it was a simple way keep everyone out of harm's way. Thank you to the entire staff at LSAH.

I want to give a shout out to LSAH. Not just because they squeezed us in this morning as Ethan is septic from his chemotherapy but for how they are handling COVID19. While I was there, they sprayed and wiped… down their counters several times. I'm sure there is much cleaning going on i did not see. They are having patients wait individually in the exam rooms if possible or in their cars if one person is already in the waiting area. They have signs up asking people not to come right up to the counter and to maintain a 3 foot distance from each other. They were very well written directives

It's a homey atmosphere, yet, COMPLETELY professional, and one of the ONLY vet places I ever went that the staff is both friendly and compassionate! I think it must be a real REQUIREMENT that you love animals, in order to work here! ( Of course, they're ALSO great with petmoms and dads! I recommend them ALL the TIME! Cindy
