Services
Dr. Jennifer DeMeo attended Cook College, Rutgers University where she earned her bachelor of science in Animal Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors. While at Cook, she was a member of the Rutgers University Equestrian Team. She earned her DVM at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
We are now Offering Cold-Laser Therapy for Arthritis, Digital X-Ray for Clear Sharp Images, Ultra-Sound Services Available (provided by outside Dr.) and In-House Laboratory Services for Critical Patients. The Atlantic Highlands Animal Hospital in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, invites you to review the following collection of pet education topics. Flea/tick control is very important for your pet. Besides being uncomfortable, fleas and ticks carry diseases, such as tapeworms or Lyme disease, that can be transmitted to your pet via ingestion or via the bite of the flea/tick.
We love Atlantic Highlands Animal Hospital! We found AHAH after some pretty thorough research after we moved to Keyport, NJ and bypassed some closer vets to bring Lemon to AH. The staff is helpful and friendly and we loved Dr. Rovere! I never got to meet any of the other doctors, but my husband only had positive things to say about them as well.
You will see a confirmation below. Our hospital is open between 12pm and 2pm for appointment scheduling, prescription pickup, and pet food purchases. Surgeries and dentals are performed Tuesday through Friday. Not for medical emergency use. Not for medical diagnosis use. Use is for general information only.

Dr. DeMeo and Raquel are just amazing! They truly care about your pets! I have worked with other vets who rush you off the phone, in and out etc. Dr. D takes her time to make sure that you understand and answer all of your questions. The team at Atlantic Highlands Animal Hospital is the best!!

Very generic animal hospital. Made mistakes on my bill and then charged me afterwards(next visit)telling me I had a balance? I am being told I didn't pay for services that I did pay for. This is what happened. I gave this company my CC to pay for a bill and they (one of the ladies in charge of billing) partially paid the bill by mistake. They made a mistake and only charged my credit card for partial the amount of the bill let me go on my way told me everything is ok. Gave me a receipt and it did not reflect my past due balance. I had no clue there was a balance as I always paid my bill here in

Great doctors here! Found the right allergy medicine for my pup after months of frustration with other doctors. Great staff, they always pick up the phone right away and are organized.
I drive 40 minutes to get there passing several other vets. I have Garden State nearby for emergencies but otherwise will never go anywhere else again.

I have been bringing our animals to these vets for over a decade. I always recommend the vets for anyone looking for the best care for their pets. I had a cat with asthma and one with IBD . The care was excellent for them and the vets had given me the names of the specialists they required during their lives. Our present cat has feline hyperesthesia and because of the vets care that she is 11 and still going strong.

Our Boston terrier “Noodles” had the most wonderful experience during his visit with Atlantic Highlands Animal Hospital. As an owner of a Boston terrier I had high levels of anxiety over having him neutered. Dr. DeMeo did a wonderful job calming our entire family and giving Noodles the best care possible. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
