Services
Our School was founded in 1997 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and we purchased our permanent facility in 2007. Our School is a private, licensed, non-profit, non-partisan, interracial, integrated program serving children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and their families. A strong belief in children and families dominates the philosophy of Our School.
Infants are on individual schedules and we cater to your child's personal time clock. Providing care for only three infants allows us to really get to know your baby and your family, and also allows us to structure our days around the needs of each individual baby.

We provide a warm, loving environment in which we encourage gross motor development, spatial awareness, developmental stimulation, and all the love and attention a baby needs and deserves. As your child gets older, a scheduled routine is introduced for breakfast, lunch, snack, and morning and afternoon napping.
Welcome to the Toddler program or Toddieland, the land of "mine." During the toddler years, your child will rapidly change and grow, learn skills, and be able to interact with the world in new and different ways. This process is known as child development, and it encompasses several areas, including cognitive development, physical development, language skills, and social development.
Children joining the Preschool program will have to be potty trained already. As children grow into early childhood, their world will begin to open up. They will become more independent and begin to focus more on adults and children outside of the family. They will want to explore and ask about the things around them even more.
At Our School, we offer several different options for Parent Participation. Families can choose to volunteer in the classroom, help out with maintenance projects or specialty projects, or purchase supplies for the school. PLEASE REMEMBER to document all Parent Participation in the log book, located in the Preschool cubby room to avoid a $50 fee each month.
