We have one location in Gypsum and one in Eagle. Both schools have beautiful natural playgrounds where children can be free to play and explore. Mud, snow, sun and green grass all set the stage for great adventures.

At Rocky Mountain School of Discovery, we provide the children with experiences that will connect them to the natural world. The earth has a finite amount of resources that human life depends on and we are facing serious environmental challenges. The education of our children is part of the long-term solution to these problems.
Rocky Mountain School of Discovery was founded by Anne Helene Garberg in 2001. As a native of Norway, she arrived in America in 1998 with a four year old in tow. She quickly learned that the approach to early childhood education and education in general was quite different from her home country.
She reluctantly sent her barely five-year-old son to kindergarten but it troubled her knowing that her son would spend his days inside in a very structured environment while his peers back in Norway would still be exploring, climbing trees and jumping puddles without a worry.The push for early academics and lack of outdoor, unstructured play seemed simply wrong.

At Rocky Mountain School of Discovery, the children are free to choose their activities and who to play with, but they are encouraged to participate in all planned activities. By working with the children individually or in small groups, the teachers will be able to build a strong relationship with the children.

Red Hill has an amazing program! The teachers are warm, loving, and nurturing and provide a safe environment for kids to learn, play, explore, and grow. The curriculum is tailored to each individual child's needs and abilities. My son has been at Red Hill for 2 1/2 years and is totally prepared for kindergarten in reading, math, arts, and science. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a quality preschool where they encourage kids to be kids!

We would highly recommend Redhill Preschool to anyone looking for a hands on approach to learning. I have two boys who have just blossomed with their nurturing and curriculum. We attended other local pre-schools before finding our match at Redhill and have been attending since 2009. My oldest was there from when he was 2 ½ till Kindergarten and was more than ready socially and academically for school where he was ahead of his class in most disciplines. He loved and missed Redhill so much he asked to go back for summer session.

Red Hill Preschool has been the best experience for our child. The director and teachers have all been responsible, professional, caring and nurturing. She is well prepared for kindergarten in reading, math, science and social skills, learned at the school. She always is excited to go to school and to see her teachers because they take time to make each and every student to feel welcome and part of the Red Hill family. We will be sad to leave to start kindergarten, but will be back next summer for their summer program. There is no reason for the negative review written below, this person has never
