I am there to support you and offer pain relief positions or natural remedies. I guide you through your journey, acknowledge your feelings, listen to your doubts and help you to gain a better understanding as you learn to trust yourself, your body and your baby.
While searching for someone to attend to one of the more intimate initiations of your life, many parents are asking me for birth doula references. Lacreshia was God sent to us! I had some bleeding in the beginning of my pregnancy and being my first baby I was terrified! She comforted me and my partner and we definitely felt her love, compassion, support and care!

I cannot recommend Lacreshia highly enough. I came to her late in my third trimester, hopeful that she'd have a spot for me. The stars aligned and she had a cancellation due to a breech baby that would require a c-section, and I was able to book her for the birth of my first child in just a few weeks.
Lacreshia immediately became an invaluable member of our team. Her gentle, caring nature was immeasurably calming and helped to assuage my husband and my fears regarding the end of pregnancy and the birth. Lacreshia was so knowledgeable, calming and essential for us as we prepared for our first baby. We planned on a natural birth but were surprised by a necessary c-section, and Lacreshia helped us navigate this transition and make it as peaceful as possible. She brings so much wisdom to support women during pregnancy, birth and breast feeding (and her massage therapy skills are a total bonus). She will be our first call for our next baby!

I used Lacreshia as my birth doula and am so glad I did! My labor was extremely long and culminated in a c-section, which was challenging and stressful for me and my husband. We felt so supported by having Lacreshia present through the entire process. She was available through the pregnancy for questions and advice and eased my mind during the struggle to bring my daughter into the world. I would highly recommend her to any expecting mamas who are looking for doula support during delivery and postpartum.

You can tell a lot about a person from their hugs, Lacreshia gives the best hugs on this planet. When I got pregnant with my second daughter there was no question that I was going to ask Lacreshia to be my doula. After a long and very emotional labor with my first child I kept telling myself that I was not in labor... when I was. Lacreshia was absolutely amazing to have as a doula for the birth of my first child. In the final weeks leading up to the birth, her advice and constant availability went a long way to easing anxiety for both myself and my husband. Her help throughout the process ultimately made the entire experience all the more calm and enjoyable when I finally went in to labor. Having her there at the hospital was incredible - she was able to support and advocate for all the things in my birth plan which allowed by husband and I to more fully concentrate on the actual birth. We hired Lacreshia as our doula and she was amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, comforting and kind. I searched the Internet and spoke to a few different doulas prior to choosing Lacreshia. She was at the hospital within minutes of our arrival (my labor came on quickly and we pretty much went straight there), she was there through out the entire 18 hours that I labored (with about 5 hours of pushing). She had kind words and a comforting touch to help me throughout my labor and delivery.

In my search for a doula I came across The Living Well. I contacted Lacreshia and boy am I glad I did! From my first meeting with her I knew that she would be extremely supportive and loving throughout the rest of my pregnancy and through my labor. Her doula package is great- it includes a prenatal massage, postnatal massage and of course help throughout your labor. She was also available for questions or concerns. It gave me a huge piece of mind that I could contact her if I needed to.

Had my first massage with Lacreshia today, and the experience was wonderful. The treatment room was comfortable and well decorated, the music was great, and the massage was professional, relaxing, and worked out all the sore spots. I've had other LMTs treat me, but this was by far the best. I'll definitely be back!
