Associates in Christian Counseling is a faith-based organization whose mission is to provide professional mental health services to all who seek them regardless of race, creed, or financial status. Those who seek our help will find a credentialed, professional staff offering a unique approach that is tailored to the needs of the individual client.
Training for the field of Christian counseling was growing around the country, and Associates in Christian Counseling was founded within that spirit and tradition. The ministry of Associates in Christian Counseling continues quality Christian mental health care accessible to those who live in the Piedmont region.
In the fall of 2006, God opened a door to expand the ministry of Associates in Christian Counseling to Surry County and their Virginia neighbors through a partnership with Surry Christian Counseling Center. Like Associates, Surry Christian Counseling Center offers professional services to all who seek them, including those with limited insurance or resources.

Christian counseling combines professional counseling techniques as well as faith principles in a unique approach to mental health issues.
Christian counseling is the process in which a professional counselor uses the tools of the mental health profession, the truths of the Bible, and the wisdom of life experience to help those in need. A professional counselor is one who has a graduate degree at the masters or doctoral level and is credentialed by a governing body upon completion of rigorous requirements and examinations.
