After a long flight, my two friends and I met with the Receptionist and were told to wait, wait, wait. Our room was not ready. Then we were told our room was not going to be ready. It had been given away. We were not late in Checking In. They just decided to give the room to someone at a Convention meeting in the Hotel. They gave us a room, with ONE BED, a King Bed, on the Club floor for 3 people and expected us to be grateful, never apologizing. This is not Excellent service or good Public Relations. Do not count on the Peabody Hotel for a Booking or a Safe Stay. You won't get it!!! I emailed

Me and my girlfriend stayed her a couple nights ago. It was her birthday the staff was really nice and all but when we got to the room. We went to unwind and found out the curtain in the bathroom had mold on it. Also the sheets were dirty when we went to go get in them. For that price though definitely should do better on keeping it up.

Arrived at the typical check in time which worked out perfectly because we had our valet take everything up to the room and by the time we can down to the lobby, there was space at the bar. By then the duck event was just an hour away from starting so we had a front row to see those cute ducks. Also club level was awesome.

Went to New Year's Eve party for 2nd time and had a wonderful time. However, the balloon drop was disappointing due to the fact that it was a flop. One side collapsed at the midnight release. Very disappointing!!! Along with small room size, would have been nice for balloons to drop seamlessly. Not good!! Otherwise, lovely stay.

Let me tell you one thing that travel agents do not want you to know about. When booking resorts use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They have the best deals on hotels! Way better than using expedia, priceline, hotwire. Take my word for it!!!
The hotel was amazing. The staff was polite and helpful with my needs. Most of the staff still wear masks which made me feel safe. The building was clean and the food was great! Highly recommend if you need a hotel in the area. Also the duck walk is cool to see!

Lovely lobby and beautiful old hotel. We truly enjoyed our two night stay and a once in a lifetime experience. The experience was grand. Our room was small but had two comfortable double beds; Very clean and well lit with comfortable quiet ac. The staff were fine but seemed tired. The hotel was extremely busy, maybe because of the holidays. My only complaint is the staff allowed Ill mannered children to harass the ducks - blowing horns, hitting, kicking. This made me sick. The "free" coffee was of high quality. I purchased a bran muffin from the deli as well and it tasted like

We did a rooftop tour with Carroll - what a fantastic experience! He was so entertaining and full of information!! He was gracious enough to honor our request to take us up there and treated us like true VIPs... if you're lucky enough to meet him at the hotel, he's a wealth of information and extremely kind.
We also had drinks in the bar - which were excellent! They were SO busy, but our waitress was incredible! So apologetic for the delay, but so friendly and happy.
We really enjoyed the Peabody and look forward to returning!

Hotel is very nice, and a good place to stay, but a bit expensive. The ducks are an experience, but a bit over rated. With kids it's fun to do once, but not a great repeat activity. Be aware, the morning duck parade is 29minutes and 58 seconds of pomp and talk followed by a 2 second duck sprint from the elevator to the fountain. The evening parade from fountain to elevator is slower and you can actually watch the ducks go. Still a lot of pomp for a bit of ducks walking, but the evening show is more fun to see. You should show up about 30 min early so you kids can get a seat to see anything. Also

What can I say? This place is gorgeous. I recommend the Rubber Duck drink, it's amazing and comes with the cutest little rubber ducky in it that you get to keep. I named him Dominic. 😂😂 Great places on the mezzanine level to take random pictures. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Memphis!

So much history associated with this hotel and they do a great job with the daily pageantry. I came here on a random Wednesday night in October for one night just to see the ducks and enjoy Beale street.
The rooms are small and dated, but that was expected and adds to the story/feeling. There are no fridges in the room. Self parking is $25 and a bit of a walk. Two restaurants on property to eat, a couple bars, pool and workout area.
This is not a cheap stay, but it's worth it at least once!
Walking distance to Beale street. Short drive to Bass Pro and the Distillery in town.

Just came back a week ago from a 4 day 3 night stay here. We enjoyed it a lot. I took advice from my friend Sandra, who also wrote a review and enjoyed her stay. I booked the club rooms for my Mom and I. We were able to enjoy a cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres, and breakfast every morning. Just a heads up, omelets were served but after 2 days I wanted something else, they dont advertise but will make you regular eggs, scrambled etc. just ask. I had to ask for toast separately. I thought there would be a bit more to choose from as I had stayed in a club level in Orlando, but maybe due to covid

We are checking out today after a really pleasant 6 days in Memphis, staying at the Peabody. There are excellent COVID precautions in place and the staff are wonderful, very helpful and enthusiastic. In particular, Bianca in Housekeeping and Carleton at the gym/pool are both excellent at their jobs and very friendly and helpful.
A few things were challenging for me, such as the live ducks in the marble fountain. I know the duck parade is a point of pride for the hotel, and folks come in to watch the show twice daily, but it is an outdated practice that should end. Captive ducks spending 6 hours

This hotel should be maybe 3 stars, not the 4 1/2 they claim. I upgraded to the luxury king for $50 extra (don't forget the 25% tax on top of that). The hotel looks very grand in the main areas and the room looks decent, but for 4 1/2 stars I would think at least I could have clean toiletries in the room.
When we arrived at the hotel, we parked in the self-parking. It is a good 10 min walk away from the lobby and cost $25 plus hotel tax. In the lobby it was beautiful and grand, but no one was wearing a mask (not even staff) and there was a line for the elevator. The line wasn't

This is a quaint historic hotel and the experience is commensurate with a revocable hotel of that nature. Bathrooms are very small and there is NO coffee in the guest rooms. Two times a day they put on a show in the lobby over their historic ducks. While this may be interesting to some people, I'd seriously pass. The roof top happy hour was something I looked forward to and is only on Friday night. After anxiously awaiting, I was seriously disappointed. If I return to the area, I think my experience would be better down the street at Doubletree or the Hilton.

I was still in bed as usual. Suddenly, I hear hubby rather loudly declare, "I just saw a ghost!"
"What?" I asked.
"I just something pass behind me in the mirror," he said with disbelief.
And we continued our travels.
Outside Savannah we landed at my nephew's. In the evening conversation we mentioned our stay at The Peabody in Memphis.
At breakfast, his wife asked us what floor we were on at the Peabody. We replied "The 11th."
She turned her phone around. The article she'd been reading said, undeniably, the 11th floor is haunted

The Peabody is one of the jewels of the south. It's a classic hotel with modern amenities. I've stated here a number of times through the years abc have always left pleased. The must sees here are the ducks and their marches in and out. Currently, the hotel is operating one sit down restaurant and that makes there be a huge wait at breakfast if you don't go early! I definitely recommend a stay here!

Loved this hotel. We had the "Jack Daniels" package. Got a nice bottle of "Peabody" single barrel Jack, self parking, mask, couple of drinks and app at bar. They also threw in a couple of shots glasses and cook book! I'm sure this package changes but if you love Jack it's worth the money.
As for room it was nice, we had two queen beds. The bathroom was a little small but fine for us.
I thought about not giving 5 star because of the self parking. It's a nice walk and I didn't see any map to explain where we were and where we needed to go. Got lost a

Please do NOT stay at this hotel!!!! My mom, myself, children and dogs stayed In a room and my sister and her husband and kids in another room! In just two days we have discovered TWO cockroaches! One was in my mother's towel as she was getting out of her bath! The other, my sister saw crawling across the room...in the dark!!! That just goes to show how big it was if it could be seen in the dark!!
Additionally, my mother yet again had a harrowing experience when our toilet suddenly overflowed and nasty toilet water spread all over the bathroom floor and into the sleeping area! They came to

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Memphis for my birthday. In true fashion, we had to stay at The Peabody.
I was excited to stay here as I've stayed at the location Arkansas before. Our room upon entry was beautiful. However, taking a closer look there were several areas missed in cleaning. Three was hair on the bed when we arrived and the creases of the chairs were flithy.
Also, not pictured were the tattered towels the hotel provided.
Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location with plenty of dining and drinking options on site

I need to update my review to let everyone know how fantastic the customer service is at The Peabody.
When we were at the bar, I saw that they serve a mule with a Peabody cup for an additional cost. I love getting mule cups from different places so I ordered one of these only to find out they were out of mugs. My husband went to the gift shop to purchase one and they were out as well.
After we checked out, we received a survey from the hotel and my husband mentioned that the only thing we were disappointed with is they were out of mule cups.

We had a lovely stay at The Peabody. I fell in love with the hotel on the first minute I stepped foot in the lobby that smells so good-very similar to the Westin signature scent. We arrived tired from a 3 hour drive from Nashville to the delightful 5pm March of the Ducks. Service was friendly as we enjoyed cocktails while watching the ducks and listening to the piano.
The deluxe King room was a good size for 2; had complete luxurious amenities, fluffy towels and robes, duck soap, duck wall art, duck everything! Oh my gosh the bed is perfect, linens fantastic! I slept so soundly and comfortably

This is such a classy hotel, bar and restaurant. We were staying around the corner and would come here for happy hour each evening and to watch the Duck Walk. This is a MUST!!! The Peabody Ducks are famous and it was so much fun each day listening to the history and getting to see the ducks. The wait staff are the best! They love their job and they appreciate the guests. They have a custom list of drinks and a special one that comes with a rubber ducky! We ordered the chips at the bar area and they were gone in 60 seconds... I want to go back to Memphis just for this place!!
