Update: Consulted with another attorney for free. Told him I felt taken as I had paid over $1000 in consultantion fees to hear "They are bad people who wrote a good contract". He explained litigation consultations are usually free or flat fee because everyone has a case- not all attorneys want to take any case. Paying for a dispute consultation is like paying for someone to interview for a job you may not want to hire them for in the end. I definitely get it now and wanted to share with the equally less enlightened out there. Knowledge is power!
