Gary S. Takowsky, M.D. has served as chief resident of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery at the White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and completed his training in plastic surgery residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. My mother went in to get multiple procedures done at once. Off the bat, the Dr. insisted on having additional procedures done and convinced her she needed these things badly. Got to give some credit for the salesmanship.
On the day of the procedure, a very very old nurse (that should be retired at her age, she’s like 80) was sent in to do the paperwork, it appeared even she was confused with the documents and kept getting everything mixed up. They then provided my mother with a cheap paper gown that literally ripped when she was putting it on. We had

I'm honestly shocked at the amount of negative reviews, and for those stating Dr. T isn't licensed or certified...his qualifications are easily Googled AND also are hanging in the exam room.
The waiting room is cozy and inviting. Obviously with COVID, not a plus, but I wouldn't mind having to wait there pre pandemic.
I had an extended tummy tuck, breast augmentation and lipo in three areas at another facility that Dr. Takowsky works with and am two weeks post op. Both post op appointments were at his personal office. The office staff and nurses are warm and friendly and have worked

I contemplated long and hard about posting this review. At the end of the day, the public should beaware. You are great risk by letting Dr. Takowski change a bandaid. PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS. I was a client.. I had a tummy tuck.. I am currently being treated by Kaiser ( by a licensed medical professional) for the butcher job.. DO NOT fall for the certificate and certifications talk that Dr Takowski brags about ( it's all paper, you'll never see a license number, certification numbet). Saw Doctor Wickwire on Tuesday for a procedure and all went well so I wanted to comment on the doctor, office staff, and everything in general. It is so comforting to walk in to an office where you are greeted with a smile and meet my appointment ON TIME. All my questions were answered with care and understanding and I felt like these people really care about what they do and are very good at it. Thank you doctor, thank you staff. If all offices were run like this one it would make visits a breeze and a pleasure!!!

I had an appointment with Dr. Takowsky about a month ago, during which we discussed about a very small surgery that I was supposed to have and the Doctor said that my Insurance covers the cost of it. I had already filled out their application with my information and with my insurance card, and he stated that my Insurance covers everything. He told me that he will call me in 2 days or so. Hi had serveral procedures completed by Dr. Gary Takowsky, my fist last November 27, 2017 I had a upper and lower abdominoplasty. My procedure went well I stayed over night and went home the following day. Dr. Takowsky, was attenuative to my needs addressed all concerns in which I had. I have been going to Dr Takowsky for 6 years for filler and botox, about 4 years ago I had a medical condition where the muscles in my face dropped.. I went straight to him, and he literally fixed everything and did an eye lift too (my eye lids had dropped too). His work was absolutely amazing! They way he did the eye lift, it only looked like I had eye liner on while the stitches were in, and no one could tell I had anything done when I went to a mandatory function for work 4 days later. Do not trust this doctor. He claims to be skilled at fixing botched plastic surgery, however, he botched my initial surgery leaving me physically scarred in areas that should have never been cut in the first place. As a result I've had to spend thousands with another doctor in order to fix Dr. Takowsky's mistakes.

I love Dr. Takowsky. I recently had a rhinoplasty consultation with him and was very impressed with his knowledge and portfolio. While I was there I asked about removing some moles. He has this amazing machine that literally zapped the moles away. I was so impressed how they healed, especially around my face that I recommend him to a friend that also had some moles to be removed. She has since been and we both want to go back for more.

My husband had one droopy eye which he had (actally both) corrected by Dr Takowski (Dr T). The incisions were virtually undetectable.
So, when I decided to have my eyes and neck lifted we headed to Dr T for a consultation. He suggested a couple other procedures for a natural look, which I opted for because the price was very resonable. He also offered a great interest-free payment plan, so I took the plunge, even with a two hour drive.
The recovery time was a bit longer than expected (by about a week, due to also having my 12" stomach scar corrected from a previous emergency apendectomy,

Gary is a great surgeon, a talented artist, and a good man. Everybody on his staff is amazing. I love Renae, Emelda, Robbie and John. All his staff are friendly and professional.
