HAA has developed an athletic program that holds firmly to the values of physical fitness, group participation, social skills, decision making, and above all, Christian principles. By cultivating a high level of physical conditioning, social interaction, and spiritual pursuit, athletics can become a tool for successful development of the whole person.
Colossians 3:17 challenges us to perform every activity for the glory of God, and it is the goal of HAA athletics to plant this belief as a constant reminder in the minds and hearts of our students. HAA offers an intramural program for students in grades 7-12 that includes basketball, flag football, soccer, and volleyball.

Services
HAA was founded 106 years ago for families of hospital employees who wanted a place where their kids could get a great education with a spiritual foundation. That dream never could have been realized without the help of community members who valued christian education and wanted to do everything possible to see it be successful.
Located at 631 E. Hickory Street, Hinsdale, IL, we are just blocks from Hinsdale Adventist Hospital and Hinsdale S.D.A. Church. HAA is easily accessible by car (just minutes from the 294 expressway), train (Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway) and PACE Bus. NOTE: Our office staff is also happy to locate potential opportunities for carpool assistance for any student, as needed.
The purpose of HAA Home and School is to support our teachers and staff members and provide a way for parents and community members to be involved in making our school the best place for children to learn and grow. With active support from our Administration, we get together monthly to collaborate on plans and activities for the year, discuss any questions or concerns parents have, and learn about future plans from the principal's update.
The academic program at Hinsdale Adventist Academy follows the curriculum as developed by the Office of Education at the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Our small class sizes, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 12.5:1, ensure that each student receives the individualized instruction he or she needs to be successful.
Full-Day Preschool in a quality, nurturing, Christian environment - located in Hinsdale, IL!. With her energy, enthusiasm for life, and unquestionable love for children, we would be hard-pressed to find a better leader for our preschool. Carolina has worked in preschool programs for a number of years, and we are so fortunate to have her with us!

Hinsdale Academy's christ-centered focus education is on point. The school has been very inviting to our family when we started at the school. The teachers and administration always goes above and beyond in everything they do. Administration is always open to discuss opinions and ideas and always eager to try new things. We have greatly appreciated our time at HAA!

This is a great school. I have met all of the staff and they are very warm and caring. They love their kids. It ranges from preschool all the way to senior year. Even though it is a Christian school they welcome all. They have a good amount of international students mainly from China who live in homes with other student families. Kindergarten is full day, which has helped many families who work full time and also provide an aftercare program. If you are looking for a change check them out.

The "science" teacher believes the world is only 6,000 years old. They put religion before everything. Pulled my kid out because she was falling behind on regular education. Kindergarden teacher actually said "At this age, they don't really need the alphabet yet". I have nothing against religion, or I wouldn't have allowed her to start there, but the classes should be kept separate imo. Also, the kids pretty much run wild in the halls. The in class bathrooms were in disrepair. The parking situation is horrible when it comes to picking the kids up. The teachers did seem very warm. And generally

Saw one of the teacher's today at the Dupage Childrens Museum. Fortunately, none of my children attend this school. The teacher was agressive verbally and physically. Yelling at children who were not misbehaving and at one point she ripped a toy out of one of the students hands. The little girl was told to go to the bathroom, she started heading to the bathroom and the teacher charges her, grabs the toy forcefully and yells "that's not yours you don't bring that into the bathroom". The situation did not call for force or yelling. The child probably just needed to be reminded kindly.

The education our children receive at this Christian school is second to none. The teachers openly love their students and the program is most definitely preparing our kids to be leaders in their chosen field. I love the rich, ethnic diversity too where our kids enjoy diversity without division. All schools should aspire to be just like HAA.

My kids have attended HAA for the past three years. We moved from Chicago to come here just so our kids can attend a top rated Christian school. We are so glad we did this as the teachers, faculty, and principals have only provided the best love, care, and support any parent can hope for. Academically the school continues to outperform our public counterparts in terms of standardize tests. The school also provides the added support for students needing additional help while providing enrichment classes to advance children. And yes, there are terrific music and sport programs that each child

This review is only their gym. I've been playing coed volleyball here with the Alumni's from this school for many years.
We rent the gym when we play after the students practices. The gym is a full basketball court that can hold 1 volleyball net.
For spectators, there's room on the stage or they would go upstairs in the seating area. I'm guessing it can hold about 50-100 people...
They recently refinished the gym floor so it looks nice and shiny. An average size parking lot that sometimes they allow public spectators whose kids are playing in the baseball fields next

I go here to play open gym basketball and the gym is pretty decent, kind of old but its good for what it is, two 10 foot basketball rims and a full court. not too much room around the sides for people to watch but there are stands and a stage you can chill in. for me its kind of far from where i live, for me to make the trip is a hassle so if you live in the city save the trip go to a local gym and ball it up there.
