Community Presbyterian Church created Growing Place Preschool in 1972 as part of our community outreach. Our shared mission is to minister to the needs of all families within our community. Growing Place is a community-based preschool. Although we do not have a religious curriculum, we do have religious storytelling, snack-time prayer and celebrate Christian holidays.
Our mission is to nurture the development of the whole child emotionally, intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually. Growing Place and Community Presbyterian Church work hand in hand offering classes, events and workshops for all families in our community. Play is a powerful gift to children and essential to their development.

Services
The Two Year Old Class provides children with the beginning steps to knowing themselves as a learner in a group setting. Children are supported to work through transitions and share so that they are better prepared for the dynamics of community learning. Teachers help children and parents work through separation.
Experienced, caring and dedicated professionals, our teachers have been selected specifically to reflect our goal of providing the very best early childhood care and education experience for every child in our program. All of our staff meet or exceed state regulations for early childhood care and education providers.

Growing place school is great and excellent preschool. My first child just graduated from
Pre-K. He loves the school so much. Teacher Marilyn, Laurie And Kristy are amazing teachers. My son learned a lot from them. They have different activities and theme every week. What I loved most is integrating church activities of family to the school activities. It is a faith based education which is why I had my son here. They also worked on projects and they try to involve not only parents but grandparents too. I recommend this preschool to everyone out there. My second child will definitely will be going

The Growing Place Preschool is where my daughter Lena has been attending school for the last two years. I've always been a huge fan of this school, the amazing teaching staff as well as the curriculum. However,… the school as well as the Growing Place community has gone above and beyond for Lena and our family.
As the children were getting ready to begin their Mother's Day projects, the school reached out to me with ideas of how they can accommodate my daughter and make things very special for her.
If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind preschool, please strongly consider the Growing Place
