On April 26, 2021 I purchased a all inclusive trip for my sister's wedding. I paid $2306 to include insurance in case we had to cancel. Due to a name change and not being able to get my passport in time I had to cancel my trip. I was lead to believe I would get a refund back on my debit card in 60 to 90 days. Upon no refund I contacted my travel agent and she told me that due to my cancellation time I would only receive a credit. It's horrible that myself along with other family members were lead to believe we would get a refund for 3 months. As our travel agent it was her responsibility

Carrie was absolutely amazing in booking our trip to the Dominican Republic. Start to finish she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. While on site I was injured and she insured our transfer would help get me a wheelchair at the airport and ensure I could get through without a problem. The resort, Casa De Campo, was amazing, food was delicious, spa was fantastic and the rooms were beautiful. She followed up to make sure we got there ok, our transfers were set and assisted in every step of the process. Prior to leaving she made sure we had our documents and our covid tests

We booked a trip through Destination Wedding for a wedding that we were attending 3/2020. We cancelled our trip due to the Shelter In Place that was ordered and because travel to Mexico was restricted. We asked about re-booking our trip and our agent told us she would get back to us. She got back to us at the beginning to 2021 and told us that we could not get a refund, even though we requested one, because we did not have the travel insurance and that we would get a credit to use towards future travel. Although we really wanted a refund we agreed to re-book our trip so we would not lose all of

We were scheduled and paid for a trip to attend a wedding in Costa Rica, in April 2020. Once Covid hit, Costa Rica restricted travel into the country. Since no one could have predicted a global pandemic occurring, we did not purchase travel insurance. Thankfully our agent, Carrie Peterson was able to work with the hotel and issue a credit that was used to rebook the wedding and trip to another hotel in Jamaica, December 2020.
As the time got closer to that travel date, certain states still maintained strict limitations on traveling and re-entry within those states, so it was decided that the

The absolute worst travel agency, Carrie Peterson and the rest should be put in jail for scamming poor brides and their guests out their money, she is a heartless thief, we were supposed to go to a destination wedding, the bride had referred her, we found the same deal if not cheaper online but wanted to give her the business since she was referred by the bride, when Covid happened she refused to refund our money even though the boarders were closed, she made the poor bride reschedule her wedding several times because she refused to refund. When we booked she never even offered us insurance for

My friend used Destination Weddings for her destination wedding at Secrets Resort Cozumel. We had to pay for our rooms back in February 2020 as she was supposed to get married in May 2020. However, the resort closed temporarily due to COVID19. My friend then re-booked for the end of November. Because of the lower price in November, we told we would get refunds (this is in writing). It has been well over 90 days since we were supposed to get our refund and nothing has happened. Carol, our contact for this, has stated is multiple emails that she has been sending the accounting department an email

Future bride and grooms BEWARE! We had a mountain of issues with our coordinator the last two months before our wedding - I'm only sharing the major points, otherwise this would be extra lengthy. We worked with Tiffany Dana (TJ), which was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever received. It was impossible to get a hold of her with any questions we had or help we needed. We sent multiple emails, text messages and phone calls, to not only Tiffany, but also the customer service contact on their website and we did not receive many responses.

I don't even want to click on the one star here but unfortunately yelp doesn't have a 0 stars option. The one star I'm giving is very generous of me. My best friend and her now husband went thru Destination Weddings and worked specifically with Dyvonne Willis. As maid of honor, I was very up to date with the process. Two people planning a wedding should not be put under so much stress at the hands of people who are supposed to be doing the opposite, relieving them of travel planning. Dyvonne Willis proved, time after time, to be incompetent, unprofessional and unavailable. Having

Working with Dyvonne Willis and Destination Weddings was the single worst experience we had, not just with our wedding planning, but likely in our entire personal and professional lives. They exhibited a lack of professional integrity, extremely poor communication practices (at times 6-10 days for a simple reply), and a consistent pattern of providing us with wrongful information or entirely getting the logistics of our guests travel wrong. Not only was there a pattern of incompetence, but there was also a pattern of bad customer service. We had to escalate issues several times, including all the
