I went to this location on Monday morning. I wanted to find out if a ring was real or not. I found this ring over a year ago. I was greeted by a young lady. She had no clue what she was doing. She had to keep walking back to the back to talk to a man who was sitting at a desk. He did not get up once to assist her, he just kept telling her what to do. I get having someone learn, but it seems as though he does not care for his customers. She was very friendly, and helped but he was not. In fact the rind and diamonds were real. So I asked about selling it to them as it says we buy gold and diamonds

Thompson Jewelers at the Bumby Plaza in Orlando is not to be overlooked when you are looking for engagement rings, wedding bands or that perfect gift for that special someone in your life. They have a wonderful (and tasteful) collection that is exceptionally priced. They also have excellent customer service - fast and friendly - that you won't get in those larger 'mall' jewelry stores. Next time I'm in the market to make a special purchase, I'll be returning to Thompson Jewelers.

My fiancé and I have had a wonderful experience with Thompson Jewelers. When we went in to pick out our wedding bands, we had the pleasure of working with Bob, who was extremely helpful and patient with us. He made great recommendations within our budget and our bands arrived perfect in less than two weeks. Super sweet people who definitely deserve the business.

Staff was very helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. As soon as I walked in the door I felt welcomed but not pressured. Wide selection, something for everyone and wide range of prices to fit all budgets. When in need of jewelry whether for myself or a gift Thompson's will be my go to place here in Orlando!

I've known about Thompson's for many years way back to when they were in downtown Orlando, and I had not visited for a long time, but recently needed some misc. repairs, batteries, and an old engagement ring to sell, they were SUPER easy and friendly to deal with, no pressure I was impressed with the service, so much to say I would not consider going anyplace else for any jewelry related needs. Great job keep up the good work. If you want great service, no pressure tactics, upfront honest people-then go here, stay away from the "big chains" shop local.

Sell your gold here.
I am so happy I brought my gold here to sell!!! An Oviedo "gold-buyer" offered me $100 for the gold I was getting rid of. Thompson paid me $325!! They also appraised a necklace for me and their appraisal was $100 more than the other jeweler.
A very nice lady named Vickie helped me, and she was very helpful when I had questions on the best way to sell some finished pieces. I heard on WTLN AM radio that a woman had the same experience selling her gold here, and I am happy to say my experience was the same. $225 more than I would have gotten - that's over

When I walked into this store to browse for a birthday gift, I was greeted immediately by an associate who happened to also be on the phone. Yet thankfully, I wasn't hounded nor did I even have to say, "I'm just looking."
They had lovely merchandise. Not a very large store, they had all the important pieces a jeweler should have, pearls, religious crosses, wedding bands, engagement rings, anniversary gifts, and some unique beaded/stone items. They were all fun to look at--especially the prices. There was a sale going on so most things were marked down in red.
