Services
When you arrive, you will be greeted by our staff who will obtain and/or confirm your identity and your insurance coverage requirements. You will be taken in by one of our technicians, who will obtain a medical and ophthalmic history, will check your vision and eye pressures, and insert pupil dilating drops.

This "eye care center" is a joke. The doctor is unresponsive. If you're lucky enough to get someone on the phone, they pretend they'll pass important messages on to Dr. Ying and never do. Their voicemail states that they'll return calls at 11am and 4pm and they don't return them whatsoever. I've called numerous times - left 4+ voicemails, talked to one young man once who seemed like it was his first day there and barely knew who I was talking about. I emailed Dr. Ying innumerable times at his email address he originally contacted me from and never got any response

I'm gonna walk you through this step by step. You arrive to a broom closet stacked with equipment. You can see the beams and 2x4 studs. You are then redirected to the elevator lobby to fill out sensitive medical forms. After this you get to sit in the broom closet where he makes NO ATTEMPT AT HUMAN INTERACTION while he one click at a time enters the information from the forms into his system. Dr Ying is a lovely eye doctor who is very kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. I am only giving one star less because I've spent the week calling and calling to check up on whether a referral has been made.
Update: I had a laser retinal procedure with the doctor and it went great. His kind reassurance is v comforting.

Dr. Ying is a nice person and I assume a good eye doctor. However, I would never again have him write me a prescription for glasses. During my first visit, he never fitted me for new glasses--just read my old prescription. When I called him with questions, he gave me a free new exam, did a fitting and prescribed me glasses with the wrong prescription--couldn't see out of them at all. When I called him, he said it was a "different notation" and wanted to refit me. No way. Luckily, I bought glasses online (EyeBuyDirect) which remade my glasses for free. Otherwise, I would have been

Dr. Ying was incredibly kind, thorough and he took the time to really work out what was wrong with my eyes. I had an eye infection for over a week that was really starting to worry me and I had a big conference coming up that I had to run. He gave me an appointment on the same day that I called, then diagnosed the problem and then sent me home with the cure. And it was all very affordable. I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend this amazing ophthalmologist!!

Dr. Ying and his staff are all so nice and friendly! They synchronize well together as a team to make sure you are getting thorough care. Dr. Ying took the time to get to know me and was very thorough in his exam. He answered all of my questions and explained how all the equipment works. My eyes are in good hands with Dr. Ying and team!
