All of our students and staff receive training from both Dermalogica business consultants and the educators at the International Dermal Institute to best prescribe treatments and products for their client's journey to their healthiest looking skin.
Our Florida campuses offer a combined training in the thriving industries of both makeup artistry and skin care. In Makeup Artistry, students learn the art and science of makeup while covering traditional, alternative and specialty applications. During the skin care portion, students learn how to perform of variety of skin treatments with special consideration for skin types, use of appropriate products and equipment, and hair removal.
A medical esthetician, also sometimes called a paramedical esthetician, may work in a dermatologist, oncology or plastic surgery office. Our paramedical dual program includes the entire Skin Care Training Program and builds upon that foundation to prepare students with the skills necessary to be employed in a medical or advanced clinical skin care environment.

The DOWN stairs staff and the TEACHERS are the only reason this school is still up.
It was a complete mess when it comes to the higher ups. And I had a little delay when it came to graduation because “I slipped thru the cracks in the system” which resulted in me being told I had 1 day to figure out how I’m going to pay 2500 to the school, even though I was told that I didn’t have to make any payments to the school until I completed my course. Kinda ironic, but I took another loan out.
As for the lab equipment, it was trash. We were missing a ton of stuff that would make the equipment

The school is disorganized and changes its curriculum frequently. I was here for four months and had three different teachers. Since they add in new students every two weeks, a lot of information is repeated constantly. Once my class grew very big, I stopped learning anything new and just clocked in to get my hours. I give it two stars because most of the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. There are many improvements to make in terms of structure and helping students make the most of their time here.

So I’m a massage student at Cortiva and I’d like to say it’s an amazing place to learn. The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable, and experienced from all walks of life. There experience really help you to understand many different avenues you can take your career.
I came in through Marianne who helps you to enroll she amazing you will see her everyday and is in ways your mom and cheerleader. She only wants great things from you.
The staff makes an effort to learn everyone’s name’s so you’re not just a student it’s like family.

This is the worst most gaslighting school ever! They are unorganized! Very unprofessional and do t care about your comfort even though you are paying them a whole lot of money! They are ridiculous! Especially the big spanish lady she is very disrespectful! The only good service is the receptionist! DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!

I just want to say thank you to MS. Miriam, Ms. Syms, and Ms. Marianne for helping with my path towards my future career. They are truly the backbone of this school. I LOVE this school. As soon as I walked in I felt connected, I just knew I was in the right place. Donna and Jazmine greet you at the front desk and they have a great job at creating a welcoming vibe. Marianne is one of a kind! She has such a beautiful soul and presence, it’s unbelievable. Jessica, the career counselor is such a delight to converse with. Very intelligent and truly works for the students ensuring we are set for success after graduation. Josh in the Finacial aid department, makes the process so easy and fast. He’s very knowledgeable over his department and has a chill vibe. Also

I graduated from this school back when it was Steiner College. I have since returned for massages and facials (at a discounted student rate) and have experienced EXCELLENT SERVICES by PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS!!
I also noticed that my past instructor is still teaching at the school! She’s an excellent instructor and I’m sure is still with Cortiva due to the great education and support that this school provides to students! I checked out 2 other local schools before choosing this school and hands down was more impressed with the opportunities and professionalism of this school than the other 2

If you are considering attending this college, DO NOT. I, myself, attended FCNH and it was the worst experience i've had. The expense to go here is completely over priced, considering they barely have any equipment needed for practice. The staff is inconsiderate, and unprofessional; many don't even wear shoes and walk bare foot throughout campus, violating many health laws. (which if you attend here can can get not only them in trouble but YOU because of something they did!) The receptionist is rude and inattentive to not only the students, but during public clinic, can't even make

I enjoyed my experience at the FCNH's public clinic this weekend. I like the fact that they offer spa services at a discounted rate. They are only open on weekends, but that is the perfect time for most people to go pamper themselves. The students in training are very friendly and courteous and seem very well-trained. I will definitely be returning when I need some more relaxation at a great value!
