Our Kids Martial Arts classes are built on the skills of Tang Soo Do. We offer age-specific instruction and an exciting belt progression system that can help students all across Meriden find success.
Our Adult Martial Arts classes are built on the skills and strategies of Tang Soo Do, a traditional Korean Karate form that can challenge your body and your mind and help you stay safe in any situation. I have been going to this place for several years. During the recent COVID-19 crisis, they have recently reopened for in-person classes, exercising all sanitation and social distancing protocols. As a senior citizen, I appreciate being able to learn at my own pace and the ability to train at a most convenient time. Prior to reopening, they provided online classes via Zoom and Facebook Live , remote belt testing and even in person delivery to my home of my new belt. Valentin is also very much involved in the communities they serve; Meriden, Plantsville, Berlin and Watertown . ( Tribury )

The best of the best ,amazing people . They are amazing , very kind and very professional . My kid loves them alot . If you want to improve your kids and make them the best that they can be ,this is the place to bring them . My family and I will always be thankful for master Valentin, his family and instructors . My son loves going to Valentin Karate and looks forward to each class. It's amazing to see how far he has come in developing his karate skills. In addition to that, he has developed life skills, has improved his self-confidence and always comes home with a positive attitude. The instructors are great and work closely with the students. They also strike a great balance between having fun and teaching students. I would highly recommend Valentin Karate to anybody interested.

Korean tradition with great respect for our flag and nation. All are welcome, from tiny tots to old codgers ( I'm of the latter group having begun at 69 ) Family plans are available and pricing is moderate. Not into karate, but want to get really fit? Then VKX is for you, combining cardio kick boxing with high intensity interval training. Come and be a part of the Valentin family.

I have been training here for almost 10 years. Has a caring staff and devoted to making your children the best they can be. Teaches like skills such as self discipline, self respect, honesty, friendship, and many other skills. The staff is truly there for your kids one and all. They also accept adults teens and anyone in between who is interested. Its also not just a martial arts school. They have fitness classes and Brazilian Ju Jitsu, and anything you can think. Have a birthday party coming up for your child? They also do birthday parties. Come on down and Join us at Valentin Karate!!

Valentin Karate is an excellent school. My child is 5 and has been attending for almost a year and I have seen great improvement in his focus, respect and most of all his love of karate is infinite. The school has great values and holds each child accountable for being respectful at home, attentive in school and excelling in karate.The instructors are one of a kind. I couldn't ask for better role models for my kindergartener. I have seen them interact positively with shy kids, active kids (like mine) and children with special needs. I would encourage everyone to come in and see what Valentin Karate
