Walsh Home Inspections views each home inspection as an opportunity to both assess the property's condition and educate you on how to operate and maintain it. Our inspectors are specifically trained to share their knowledge and welcome all questions as you go step-by-step together through the inspection.
A Seller Inspection is the best way to prepare your home and yourself for the upcoming sales process. Done prior to listing your home, this inspection identifies issues that a future buyer's inspector is likely to find and offers preparation tips based on these findings. With this information in hand, you can go into the sales process fully informed and better prepared.
The purpose of an inspection is to provide a report that discloses the physical conditions of the property's systems and components (including garage) which are readily accessible and observable at the time of the inspection, including those which are potential safety hazards.

Walsh Home Inspections offers clients the opportunity to add on a wood-destroying (WDI) insect inspection for an additional fee. While optional for many clients, certain mortgages require that a WDI be conducted. Mortgages that do require a WDI inspection typically include Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Veterans' Association (VA) and United State Department of Agriculture (USDA).

If I could do zero stars I would. We hired Walsh Home Inspections to do an inspection and they cancelled a week before the scheduled inspection because' per there employee they " thought there could be traffic" The mortgage broker who recommended them was shocked as was our realtor. A completely unreliable company.

A buyer client of mine requested a few referrals from me for a home inspector. As always, i gave 3-4 names of inspection companies that my former clients were satisfied with. We had set up an inspection for our first home we are buying. We had arrived at the appointment time and Cameron had already been there getting things set up for the inspection. He explained clearly what we were going to cover during the inspection then lead us on the walkthrough. He clearly went over things he was looking for that looked great, and things to look out for in the future. This was so informative and helpful as first time home owners. My wife and I left the inspection feeling confident in the home and more informed. We said it would be great to have Cameron come out every few years

Excellent experience with Cameron inspecting an old house for my partner and I. Paid for an 'antique house' inspection which was a little bit more than the normal inspection but seemed to be incredibly worth it! Cameron went EVERYWHERE in the house, crawlspaces under the house and into every crevice of the attic. The report produced was lengthy and very helpful in evaluating the house. Cameron was my inspector and although I did read a bad review against him, from a year ago, I have to say that that review has expired. I'd consider myself a very observant person and it was comforting to have the same trait in a home inspector. This wasn't my first home inspection, so from experience, don't pass on this guy. You'll definitely get a thorough inspection and someone to explain things so you can understand. I don't usually trust inspectors, but believe me, you will not be disappointed if he's assigned to your inspection.

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced industries to become nimble and change their practices to accommodate their clients. Walsh has done an outstanding job. We were able to do the inspection via Facetime with the client who is purchasing sight unseen due to the current challenges. Steve was absolutely fantastic. The service was great and there is nothing better than a company that rolls with the punches in these situations. Claudio was fantastic. He was extremely professional, thorough, and detailed. He took the time to walk us through every piece of the property both internal and external. He addressed all of our questions and made it a point to tell us any issues he saw that would be in the report and whether or not it was something to worry about (there wasn't). We received the inspection report the same evening and there were no surprises. We highly recommend Walsh HI and Claudio is the best!!

DO NOT USE! Our now home was inspected 10 months ago. We were told everything was in good condition and there wasn't anything to worry about. Since then, we've had to replace the dishwasher, oven, washer, dryer, breaker box and hot water heater costing more than $5,000 (not including the $570 inspection cost) - all things that should have been easily identified by the home inspection. We were completely taken advantage of as first time home buyers. Stay away from this company.

I used then for a new home I am in the process of purchasing. Scheduling them for service was one of the easiest experiences you could ask for. Everything can be done online and you get to choose a time. I worked with Cameron and he did a fabulous job going through everything in the house. We worked with Walsh on an inspection for our new home. They were fantastic. The office was responsive and explained everything that was going to happen quickly. We had Claudio on site and he was thorough and walked us through the inside and outside of the house after examining it. We had a WONDERFUL inspection today with Mike. He took the time to walk us through every little detail of the house and inspection process, and he was happy to answer any and all of our random questions about all kinds of things. His approach to inspections was very thorough, but he was also very thorough and clear in his explanations of everything. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and easy to work with, and he was also very responsive when we were working with a tight deadline. We worked with both Louie and Mike for our inspection process. We also had our radon checked with Walsh Inspections as well. The whole process was so seamless. The customer service was great when trying to book the inspections, and prompt responses when we had additional questions.
The radon testing was very detailed and used the updated electronic inspection versus the cannister. The results were very detailed and allowed us to see the radon levels in the home on an hourly basis versus other companies that only provide one number that is an average over the 48 hours. This was the 3rd inspection I have had with Walsh and they have all been exceptional. The Inspector we had on our most recent one this week was on a 200 year old colonial, certainly many issues but the Inspector; Brian was realistic about some of the issues you can find in an old home BUT still pointed them out for me each time.
Our Inspector was thorough and detailed he was, personable, competent, helpful and pleasant. He went to great length to explain things, the level of severity of issues and things to focus when we buy the home.

Everything seemed to go OK. The inspector was very personable, but he was not thorough at all. After I moved into the house I discovered all sorts of issues that should have been caught by the inspector. I understand they can;t find everything, but he didn't find some very basic things! Things that according the contractors I have had to hire should have been caught. Do not use OMAR from Walsh home inspections!

Just had a home inspected by Walsh Home inspections, inspectors name was Louie. I was very impressed with his knowledge, interest, and effort put into the inspection. He was very thorough going above and beyond my expectations. Im confident knowing that he didnt leave any leaf unturned. Wasnt afraid to pull out his tool box and take things apart or crawl into tight spaces to get the answers. Poked the entire sill plate and found some rot that otherwise couldnt be seen. He took photos of all his concerns even if they were minor and emailed us with his results. Well rounded knowledge in all trades

I have a home for sale, walsh home inspections did in fact view my home. although "louie" was professional and did a fine job inspecting the home HE FAILED TO REPORT PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY LOUIE DRIVING OFF A RETAINING WALL.
he at the end of the inspection, witnessed by a tenant of my own, drove off a retaining wall causing damage. his vehicle had to be lifted onto the driveway by a tow truck.
after this incident you would think he would feel obligated to report any/all damages caused by this incident.
to date i have not been contacted.

I had my new condo inspected by Michael Walsh in the beginning of May. I highly recommend his services. He was very thorough and explained things in an easy and informative manner.
