Carolyn has been working in the industry for over 20 years. She began her career at the renowned Carsten Institute of Cosmetology. After graduation, she directly assisted Carsten Wilms for nine months, perfecting French Cutting Technique. She then relocated to Newport Beach for two years, establishing a clientele at the Oasis Salon.
To further her career, she moved back to Arizona, taking on the role of Salon Manager and Educator at the Atlantis Salon & Spa. There, she developed a training program for beginner stylists. In 2004, she established Carolyn's Hair Design, specializing in acclaimed European styling techniques and contemporary fashion and style.

Carolyn is amazing!! I went in for highlights and the color I left with is so beautiful and blonde! She really cares about her clients and asked me multiple questions to make sure my hair would be done exactly how I had in mind. Not to mention she’s the sweetest lady ever, I’m never going anywhere again to get my hair done!!

Every single time I see Carolyn, she works her magic and "POOF" my hair is beyond amazing and beautiful. She is literally a master at color, cutting, and styling. To me, she's like the "hair whisperer" or "GURU", no joke! Besides the fact that she nails my color and style every single time, she educates me on what shes doing and really how hair responds to color etc. Probably information i'll never need, but I appreciate her deep rooted passion for what she does.

I've been going to Carolyn's Hair Design for years! She's has never done me wrong. I always leave feeling and looking great! My daughter has super curly hair and Carolyn knows what she's doing with curly hair too, which is hard to find. When my son was young and wanted longer hip hair, she was able to do this as well and it looked really good! Now that I'm getting some greys, Carolyn is able to give me highlights that blend well with my natural color and grow out without looking bad! I could go on and on. Carolyn's Hair Design is amazing!

I am a very nervous client when it comes to hair. I never know what I want and am afraid of change. I was referred to Carolyn and was so impressed by her knowledge and recommendations. She has done a wonderful… job not only coloring and cutting my hair, but also caring about the health of my hair avoiding damage. I've been going to Carolyn for well over a year and she has been exceptional. I went from a short bob to shoulder length hair with great results.
