What makes our veterinary hospital special? We think that you will love having us as a part of your pet's personal health care team. We are Ooltewah, Apison and Collegedale's hometown veterinarian, less than a ten-mile drive from McDonald, TN and less than a twenty-mile drive from Cleveland, TN. Our pet hospital offers short wait times, personal service and follow-up communication.
We pride ourselves in offering the best veterinary care possible for you and your pet. Please note that in order to be able to ensure short wait times, our veterinary clinic does not see walk-ins unless it is an emergency. I, unfortunately, did not educate myself on the importance of dental health in our fur babies until my sweet Sally Anne refused to eat her food and suddenly became very lethargic.

Your cat is your friend and your housemate, but he is not so far removed genetically from his early feline ancestors. It is the month of St. Patrick's Day and although legends abound, we do believe that Patrick himself was pretty lucky. There's a good chance, wherever you are today in the United States, your local veterinary practice is swamped.

I’m so glad I found Applebrook for my fur babies! Dr. Primm and Dr. Pepper are both always kind, attentive, and patient in answering all my questions, and the quality of care has not changed in the slightest because of the pandemic. Everyone else on staff has been a pleasure to interact with, especially Heather, who just radiates kindness and enthusiasm. I recommend this fear-free practice to every pet parent I know!

I’ve been going to Applebrook for 18 years with my grandmother and our dogs at the time , Grizz and Skip! After they passed we took our dog Bailey! Now that I’m out on my own, and a Cat mom, I knew just where to take my fur baby! I’ve always loved the care and attention they gave to my former pets, and Moony is no exception! He loves going, he… knows when we’re there and he doesn’t seem afraid. I recently boarded him while I took a trip and I was updated on him when I called and even given some pictures of him after his afternoon nap ❤️ This has

Was able to get a quick appointment, but was disappointed that I couldn't go inside with my pet and talk to the vet eye to eye. Naturally, you always forget to ask a question that should have been asked, so that will mean that I will have to go back for another appointment later, hoping that the question I forgot to ask isn't something serious. Otherwise, everyone was very nice and took care of my cat.

Positive: Quality, Responsiveness
This was my dogs first visit there. The staff and doctor were very kind and took time to inform me on the check-up and answer any questions. My wait wasn’t long, and we left feeling much better about our pups coughing concerns. I would recommend Applebrook to anyone. Thank you to the staff and doctors there!

Fear Free. when I first heard that applebrook was fear free certified I questioned what that meant. when I went to the office today I found out. they go out of their way to make sure that your fur child does… not feel threatened or forced to do anything. they did research to find out what colors to paint the walls so that it would be relaxing for the animals. they spray the rooms with pheromones that are relaxing and calming to the animals. if you live in the ooltewah collegedale area, and you are looking for a new vet stop looking and come here.

Went there and PAID for a Yearly Exam, but didn't get a YEARLY EXAM, NO STOOL EXAM WAS DONE, despite a Complaint of RECENT GI ISSUES, EARS NOT CHECKED, EYES NOT CHECKED!!!! Dr. Pepper ordered Blood Work, but the tech. shaved Front & Back paws, attempted 4 times WITHOUT SUCCESS. Then marked it on our Medical Records that we DENIED LABS. Wanted a single abdomen X-Ray done, but they wanted to do MULTIPLE X RAYS under sedation!!! NOT HAPPY, WE WONT RETURN!
