Next Generation Village Teen Drug & Alcohol Rehab
We help transform the lives of teens addicted to alcohol and other drugs or who have co-occurring mental disorders, and we provide hope for families who are affected by the consequences of drug use. We will help lead patients to recovery and build long-term relationships with affected families so that, together, we are able to overcome teen drug and alcohol addiction.

We treat adolescents facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders, such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety and depression. The National Survey on Drug Use and Health shows each day roughly 8,000 people aged 12 or older will use an illicit drug for the first time.
Services
Recent government studies have indicated that American teens rampantly abuse both illicit and pharmaceutical drugs. While many young people simply experiment with drugs, about 8% of them develop an addiction. Once teen drug addiction takes root, your child is at a higher risk for social problems, early death and a litany of other serious issues.
Alcohol and adolescence seem to go hand in hand, as research shows that 72% of teens have consumed alcohol by high school graduation. Most American teens have grown up surrounded by alcohol, and may view it as a rite of passage into adulthood. Even if your child has a combination of these risk factors, that does not automatically mean that they will end up becoming an alcoholic.
In 2015, 10% of middle and high school students surveyed said they smoked marijuana daily, and a staggering 91.3% had used the drug at some point in their lifetime. The year before, 4.17 million Americans said they had abused or were dependent on marijuana. With the increased popularity of the drug amongst teens, the instances of marijuana abuse continue to rise.
To teens, prescription drugs can seem like a safe alternative to hard street drugs, but in reality, prescription medications can do a great deal of damage to a growing brain. Teens that don't get help can grow into adults with deep-set addictions that are very difficult to heal. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, alcohol and marijuana are the most popular drugs of abuse for those 14 and older.
It's an extremely addictive substance that affects the dopamine receptors in your brain. Since the cocaine high doesn't last very long people typically take it again and again in order to keep the high going. Cocaine changes the way the neurotransmitters communicate across your brain. It primarily targets the dopamine receptor, which releases pleasurable feelings throughout your body.

The people that I talked to over the phone guaranteed a quick admission/registration. Once I arrived to the faculty it was totally different. I kept the call center informed of my expected arrival time and once I arrived they advice me to stay in the car for 30 more minutes in 90 degree weather. Then they came out to do a COVID test, that’s another 15 minutes. I am very upset because I was told different information pertaining to the fees/out of pocket cost and I was told I didn’t have to bring my child then I receive a call this morning stating I had to bring him. They forget to tell you about

As a mother of a 17 year old who was struggling with mental health and substance issues, I am grateful to Next Generation Village for providing a safe, supportive, and quality program for my child. The medical team identified important issues and addressed them with great skill. His therapist was supportive and insightful. The behavioral support staff truly provided comfort and companionship to my child and made the difference. Thank you Next Generation Village for giving my child a strong stepping stone in a life of recovery. I highly recommend this program to children and families.

My son spent 74 days at NGV. We are very pleased to have a respectful son returning. He has been much more open and hopefully honest with us. He is doing chores without defiance. We still have a ways to go but it is so much better than when he was destroying the house and outside area and even putting his foot thru a glass door. Things have been much more peaceful. We are still on eggshells wondering when that other show might drop again. However right now I'm loving it. Dr Drury, Shericka and the nurses and techs and of course the Educator Mr Alomar were absolutely awesome.

I had an okay experience at NGV. Some of the staff really wanted the best for the patients and didn’t come just for the pay check, daily Bible readings with Elbin were cool, most of the BHT’s are chill. The food here is alright, not a 5 course meal or anything but it’s relatively healthy, they offer a gym which helps pass the time, and this place probably would fail a portion on a safety inspection, leaks from the vents everywhere constantly (even in our rooms). Ashley is probably the best therapist that they offer and she really listens and helps for your recovery. They told me I was going

Please do not send your child here, the clinical director is very unprofessional, lied to my parents about me getting into a physical altercation in which the other kid involved I had made a shank in the facility and was not brought up to my parents. The food was like High quality cafeteria food. All of the things I was promised on the phone was a lie. Most of the BHT‘s were cool shout out to Papa, Travis and Char of all the people there they made my stay a little better. I feel as if they need a better management system and most of the rules and ways that they managed situations were unfair

Most unprofessional clinical director on the planet but the food is good the cabinets are a great place to store dead fish and the class room has great computers for looking at pictures of guns. Papa, Rose, Josh, Travis, X, Char and Sabra all deserve a raise.

Next Generation Village is an amazing facility. I have to say that from the intake process to the discharge process to the aftercare support, they are truly a group of highly trained, compassionate and professional people. Like most teenagers who enter a substance abuse program, my daughter was not excited (to say the very least). As a parent I was beyond anxious, worried, and desperate. From the very first conversation to the last person I spoke with/ worked with to help my daughter, I was consistently reassured, and always hung up the phone feeling a little more hopeful every time. Not only was
