A beautiful and clean environment to get your nails done and treat yourself. It must be one of the cleanest nail salons in Hollywood. Go to Mimi!!! I absolutely love coming to Color Coat! Mimi always does an amazing job and she is so sweet, kind and detail oriented! Mimi also did my halloween nails and painted the cutest ghost designs. Additionally, Sue the owner is the sweetest too and really does take care of her customers! I definitely recommend coming here.

I only come to this place for Henry. He is the absolute best and delivers amazing service and does my nails so beautifully. I should have known better to schedule an appointment when Henry is not there.
I scheduled an appointment over the phone, and explicitly stated I wanted a full acrylic set with design and a pedicure. I did not want anything other than acrylic. Tried out this salon for the first time for dip powder manicure. I'm new to the area and looking for a replacement salon for the one I had been going to for 3 years. This place unfortunately will not be it.
They used UV light and gel top coat on my dip powder manicure, which should not be needed with the proper kit. My nails are healthy and hard. Within one day one of my nails broke off just with a light tap. Two others were chipping by day 2. I got them fixed - which required an appointment. I'm on day 4 and the same nail is chipping again and now another has chipped underneath the

I recently visited this nail salon 2 weeks ago for a gel manicure and i can tell you that this was probably one of the best manicures i have ever had!
Staff is super nice and patiently helped me pick the right color!
Btw getting an appointment was also super easy and quick. I called in the morning on a Friday and they were able to accommodate me on the same day! :))

DO NOT COME HERE!! I paid $85 to have nails that look nothing like the shape I asked for. Chunky & thick. She didn't even paint them all the way!! She cut me and burned me with her file machine. Was rude & rushed my entire appointment. I have no clue why I still tipped her! This place has the audacity to charge this much for such a poor job. I'm going to Modern Pamper Salon next time.

Cute place, very friendly staff, but they do not use quality product. I got dip powder on a Saturday and it was chipping by Tuesday. I have been getting dip powder for years and have never had it chip this quickly (or chip at all). Usually I can go 3+ weeks on dip. This place is nice and has the potential to be good, but they need to invest in better quality product for sure

I would find a better place to go. The nail techs are pretty talented, but if you're looking for a good customer experience I'd go elsewhere. The manager Sue on multiple occasions comes off snide, and downright rude. I've been supporting her business for months (even during the pandemic), coming in regularly but the energy I get from her is very negative. I do not want to continue supporting her business. I've been going to Color Coat for around a year now for acrylic nails and gel pedicures and I've always had a good experience. The salon is really pretty, clean, the staff is nice and always replies fast to their Instagram DMs which make it very easy to book appointments. They do a good job at doing long nails I've always been satisfied with the shape, and they don't break easy. But when I do have a chipped or broken nail I usually just walk in and they always have time to fix it, they even did it for free last time which is highly appreciated. I'll keep going back!

I come here all the time and get a really reliable manicure! When getting my nails done, I like to leave a little bit up to the professionals when they know what they're doing and they always take great care of me.
Additionally, the woman who works at the front desk is so kind and welcoming and makes it easy for all of the clients.

The woman that did my fill was incredibly rude to me. She was adamant throughout the entire process that I needed to get gel polish when I requested normal polish. I was instructed to pay prior to her finishing the fill which seemed appropriate since my nails would be wet when we finished. By the way, I would come to this place twice a month and pay a different price each time. They behave horribly if you dare to say something like cut further, the service is lacking and they gossip about you and it is felt in the air and in their faces. Very disappointed.

This places was clean, cute, and spacious. But the best part was seeing THE BEST nail tech Mimi🤩 she is so talented it’s outrageous! She’s new to this location but she’s been doing my nails for quite some time now from her previous place but I could not stand to lose her! But sadly I spent $55 on a gel manicure with design that looked NOTHING like I wanted. On Monday the city of La opened nail salons again. I texted in for an appointment on Saturday. I had it confirmed for 10am. I was so excited. I sent them the photo of what I wanted and they said not a problem.

They've erected a tent outside and you can get your mani/pedi... finally! It's not the most comfortable experience you'll ever have getting your nails done, but at least they'll be done, you know? And the staff does everything they can to make the experience as tolerable as possible.
Very happy to have found them and can't wait to try out their full-service offerings once we are in the "After Times". But for now, this is a Godsend and I highly recommend!
