Kidz Lagoon

Kidz Lagoon has grown into a family of schools known as Kidz Lagoon Schools with Traditional and Montessori Programs. It is our mission to foster a good self image and prepare your child to face life with confidence. Our warm, loving, learning environment enhances and develops children's minds where freedom of choice and independence are encouraged.

We know all parents want the very best of everything for their children, especially child care and we strive to be that Center that meets all of a doting parent's needs. Our goal is to provide an excellent level of care to our children by working with parents, providing a loving home-like environment combined with a healthy diet.

At this stage in a child's life, they rely on learning through their five senses, using their hands to explore their surroundings. They begin to develop trust, begin to socialize through smiling. As they begin to communicate their needs, children develop self-confidence, they begin to understand that words have meaning and people will respond to their sounds.

The preschool years are often marked by large increases in creativity and self-expression. Parents may notice an uptick in artwork and creative expression. Preschoolers are also curious about everything that they see and hear. This is a great time for caregivers to encourage imagination and teach social skills to help them adapt to a new environment filled with other kids.

Our Full Day Kindergarten Program is a structured learning environment which compliments the High Scope Curriculum to develop literacy, math, social studies, science, technology, creative arts and motor skills, based on the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards.

Our carefully designed lesson plans develop self-reliance, self-esteem and self-confidence in preparation for 1st Grade, all while allowing your children to grow in an exciting, engaging, positive and nurturing environment.We work hard to make sure your children have everything they need to begin their lifelong journey toward constant learning, and we provide them with the tools needed to actually enjoy school and look forward to every day.
