It's pretty disappointing that I can't give her 10 stars plus 5 stars will have to do. I loved coming here for my first time and cannot wait to come back! I even have my next appointment set up and all. Caprice is so friendly, so professional and so knowledgeable. I learned a lot while getting my hair done which was cool. Even for some therapy out of it. I am so happy to say that I found my new hairstylist! She truly is a gem folks!

I've been seeing Caprice for over a decade and I've never left with a bad haircut. I love that if I come in with something that doesn't work, she tells me and helps me find something that will. She tailors each cut to what works best for you, and gives you multiple styling options.
I'm especially happy that I went to her before everything shut down. Her cuts grow out SO WELL and I know I won't be looking like a yeti if I don't get in for a long time. She is incredibly talented and worth every cent!

Caprice executes things far better than anyone else I've seen. And my hair looks great even when it's not styled. Also, for the first time I havent needed any adjustments to my color. Caprice I love you, youre my new person, and SHAME on everyone who isnt also leaving a review for this spectacular woman after you've sat down in her chair. You should have like a thousand reviews, I hope this encourages others to share their positive feelings. If you're looking for someone to do/fix your hair do not hesitate to schedule with her. I adore this place. Caprice, the owner, has been doing my hair for years. She is the perfect and rare mix of artist and professional. She takes the time to listen to me and always offers sound advice. She is in touch with what is on trend. Her attention to detail is second to none. And, she is one of those people that is an absolute delight to talk with, an important attribute for a stylist! Oh, and her head massages.... She has a rare thing going, this is an extraordinarily special salon.

I have been going to Caprice for a little over five years and she is the best. My family has been her clients for hair and have also used her hair/makeup services for weddings and proms. Caprice is like superwoman, i had gotten my eyebrows completely butchered leaving them uneven and crooked. I was horrified and I came to her and she worked each wax to bring them back to normal. I only trust her to work on them ever since. She is a true professional at her craft(s)! This boutique salon is very welcoming with a light and fresh feeling/aesthetic.

I highly recommend Session Studio for Brazillian Blowouts. Caprice saved my hair. I moved to Portland last year and was going to a different salon in Portland that claimed to be doing Brazillian Blowouts. Well I was wrong--that other studio wasn't doing the full treatment on my hair. Caprice met with me and made an appointment right away to get the situation straightened out. ;) My hair is now back to being straight and lovely. Thank you Session Studio!

I've been going to Caprice for awesome cuts for about 8 years when I come from NYC to visit my family once or twice a year. I love her cuts so much that I prefer coming here rather than anywhere in NYC. Caprice really works hard to fit someone's personal style and preferences, and she cuts hair differently to suit each person in my whole family. I personally love the texture and angled cuts she does and would trek back way more often if I could!

I've been a client of Caprice's for about four years now. I was so happy to find her and knew immediately that she was the one. You know what I mean by "the one" right? She listens to my wants, needs and ridiculous suggestion to shave my head, and then she works her magic. I have thick, unruly wavy hair and she tames the beast.

I've been having Caprice do my hair for a few years now. And I will never have another stylist touch my hair. It started when I found her online looking for Hair and Makeup Artist for my wedding. I wanted simple but elegant.
Caprice listened to me and she then put her knowledge and creativity to work.
Her prices are very reasonable and her salon is adorable! Very professional and yet super personable. I feel like our monthly visits are therapy sessions. Ha!!
