CedarHouse Hair Studio is a full-service hair studio located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, WA founded by stylist, Catherine Casabianca. We're all about providing a space for our clients to get comfortable, relax, and enjoy some you-time-along with receiving the very best hair care that we have to offer.

Catherine is the owner and founder of CedarHouse Hair Studio. She started her career in the hair industry from the young age of 17 in Southern California. Growing up in California, Catherine developed an affinity for beach-inspired lived-in looks, which led her to become a specialist in the balayage and blonding techniques.

4-hour street parking is available on 1st Ave N as well as the surrounding blocks behind the salon. A Paid public parking lot is available across the street from the salon on 1st Ave N. Several other options of public parking lots are available in the surrounding area. Please be mindful that CedarHouse Hair Studio and Stylists are NOT responsible for payments towards parking or any parking expenses occurred while at our place of business.

To say I was pleased with my experience with Karly would be an understatement.
I'm new to Seattle and decided to give Karly a try. Her confidence made me feel at ease and helped assure me I was in great hands. She listened to what I wanted and took total control-- all while entertaining me with great conversation. I'm not usually much of a talker during haircuts but she made it so easy. She's able to jump into conversation like she's known you for years.
On top of a great experience, I walked away with a AMAZING looking cut.

Just moved to Seattle and looking for a hair stylist that fit me. I'm so lucky that only 2nd try and I found Karly. I will definitely go back for sure! Here's why I think she is Awesome:
1) Quick response for appointments and any questions.
2) location: I live a block away so that's a plus.

Cedarhouse Studio has a great atmosphere and even better stylists. I have been going to Kit for my haircuts for almost six years now; he started cutting my hair in Salt Lake and luckily enough he ended up moving to Seattle right after I did. I have always gotten an amazing cut from Kit and he is very knowledgeable about the products he uses and gives great insight on how to style your hair. I highly recommend coming here.

Catherine at CedarHouse was such a gem to work with. She really listened to what I was looking for and definitely delivered. I got there a little early for my cut and watched the end of her previous client's balayage, and let me tell you it was beautiful. Definitely going to her if I decide to change up my color.
The salon is so gorgeous, and she decorated it all herself. It's a mid-century modern dream, complete with all the houseplants you're pining after on your Pinterest.

Kit has been cutting my and my Mom’s hair for about a year now and we’ve never been happier! Kit always spends enough time with us to really discuss what we want and then is meticulous about making the cut exactly what we want. I was never loyal to a hair stylist until I met Kit and now I’m never going back! The new space is absolutely beautiful! ❤️

Kit did such a great job on my blonde hair! He touched up my roots with some highlights, while maintaining the integrity of the rest of my hair (which is already blonde). It felt so soft and happy, it looked absolutely amazing! Highly recommend Kit. He explains his ideas, tells you what he’s doing and why; Kit is so easy and fun to talk to, and I love how passionate he is about hair and his clients. Thanks for making me feel beautiful Kit!

Karly is the best!!! I have been going to her for years for all my hair needs! We have gone from long to short, black to blonde and back! She is so patient and gives great recommendations for my hair! She's honest and keeps it real- she will let me know reality of any hairstyle, timing, and care, etc. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! I leave her appts feeling refreshed and so cared for! Kit has been cutting my hair for the last few years and is a true pro. His ability to Tailor a cut and style to who ever the client is uncanny. His passion for the craft is evident in the way he expands the clients knowledge of cuts and product really helps each of his guests between visits. I would recommend this shop and more importantly kit to anyone who has the ability to grow hair. Seriously.
