We have educated thousands of children since first opening in 1964 as Yucca Court Day Care Center. Both Yucca Court and Ms. Carolyn's were founded by Mrs. Freda Sanders, the mother of five children, grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of three. Mrs. Sanders later turned the management of Ms. Carolyn's over to her youngest daughter, Carolyn Usategui who has three children and three grandchildren of her own.
Carolyn has worked in the child care industry since 1983. Ms. Carolyn's accepts children from infant to 12 years of age, and is accredited as a 4-star center by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Our child to teacher ratio is in accordance with the NCDHHS AA standards.

My child went here for a while and there was ONE teacher who was OUTSTANDING when he was transferred to his next age group,he became more rebellious than EVER. My son did not care for the teacher and i got phone calls everyday due to my childs behavior and how the teacher treated him. If would have known how the treatment was to my son and the fact i could NEVER get video proving that the teacher did not antagonize my child before i received the phone call of my child crying his eyes out, even after i had a meeting with the people there, i would not have kept him there for as long as i did.

I have been taking my now 7 year old here since he was 2. I've never questioned or worried not one day about how he was once dropping him off. The staff is all certified and Mrs Carolyn always makes you feel at home. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else. Very highly recommend.

The BEST daycare in Fayetteville. I toured several other daycares and did sit-ins, and nothing has compared to Ms Carolyns. My son loves his teachers. The staff truly care about the kids and my son is excited every day that we drop him off. There are cameras in each classroom, play time outside, and always activities for the kids. Two thumbs up!
