A farm boy at heart, Dr. Gulland grew up outside of Titusville on the family farm and was the oldest of three boys. Aside from raising crops and hay, he raised beef and milk cows, pigs, and chickens. He was very active in 4-H and if you are lucky, you will hear about his prize-winning Holstein cow, "Westbridge Star Marvix Judy"!
Today, he resides in Hermitage, PA, and while the farm animals are gone, he still enjoys gardening and caring for his berry bushes and heirloom fruit trees. After graduating from Maplewood High School, Dr. G attended Penn State University, earning a B.S. degree in biology. Always wanting to work in healthcare, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and so enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Whether is it before braces or after braces, I am often asked about wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth, which are sometimes called "third molars", usually erupt between the ages of 17 and 25, that is if they can erupt. Some people have wisdom teeth that erupt without any problems; however, in many cases, there is not enough room for these teeth.
Financial Coordinator Fun Facts: Kim's favorite "comfort" food is grilled cheese and tomato soup! She and her daughter once rescued two baby squirrels. Kim is the mother of one son and one daughter. Dr. Gulland and his staff are all AMAZING!!! I feel truly blessed to have them in my family’s lives and will be forever grateful for all they have done for my family. 5++++++ Stars! I took my first child to Dr G 17 years ago. I was beyond impressed with his professional, kind, detailed care. When my daughters needed an orthodontist, I would only go back to Dr. G. Her treatment was also excellent. Now I have two more children being evaluated and two more that will only receive Dr. G care. 6 total!!! The staff is so friendly, kind, and always smiling. Over a decade and Dr G and his staff continue to only get more exceptional. Thank you. Our family loves the new offices and the child friendly environment. If I ever need to recommend an orthodontist to anybody, this will HANDS DOWN be the only place I recommend! Seriously, the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
