Dr. Kim and his staff are caring and really made me feel that my health and safety were highly valued. He and his staff also took the time to educate and teach me how to keep my mouth healthy and how that keeps the rest of my body healthy as well. I loved how he answered all of my questions from "Is teeth whitening safe?" to "How are you really supposed to floss?" and gave me honest answers and great a different solutions to try.

I've been meaning to write a review about how much I love Windward Smiles!! Dr Russell Kim and his team are the absolute best!!! I love how at my first appointment he went over my x-rays and exams closely and explained to me all the things I was seeing- and how I could make my dental future look brighter!
The office is sparkling clean, the whole staff is very friendly, timely, and they use great technology to make setting up appointments very user-friendly whether you do it from by text, email, or cell!

I have seen Dr. Kim a few times now and I can honestly say that he has changed my oral hygiene routine. I have worked in healthcare for over 30 years, so I appreciate when the doctor himself takes the time to review your routine, right down to the wire. We discussed what my needs would be and how to address them. He provided me with written samples of what I would need to do to prevent anymore damage. I am quite appreciative of that. I've only seen Dr. Kim a couple of times, but he's very nice. He was recommended to me by a coworker. I hate the dentist, but both him and his staff made me feel comfortable.
My first visit, he recommended I get my wisdoms pulled; YIKES! But it was actually for the best because my previous dentist had been putting it off for a long time. It had started pushing against my back teeth and causing damage. As scared as I was, he recommended an awesome oral surgeon that completed the procedure.
I like this place, and expect to be coming here for a long time.

I've been seeing Dr. Kim for about 18 years. He's by far one of the best. He's friendly and so is his staff. They're always very accommodating. They squeezed me in when I lost my filling even though they were closing. Once my mother who was terminally ill with cancer had an infected tooth. She didn't have insurance for dental. He fit her in to his schedule. Extracted the tooth and charged her very little. He's a kind man. My husband also sees him. If you're looking for a dentist on the Windward side he's an excellent choice. Plus their open Sundays

Dr. Kim Russell is a very professional & admirable dentist there is. I have been going there for many years even if the distance is far, but knowing that I am being treated like family there not only by Dr Russell but also by his staff is very warming. I had a really bad toothache over the weekend & as soon as I called them the very next business day, they took me in that very morning even as a last minute appointment! They never fail to listen to you. He takes his time to know his patients during each visits and that alone makes me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him to everyone.
