Adra has been a Dental Assistant with our team since 1995. She loves what she does and says that helping people achieve better oral health is tremendously satisfying!
Dr. Steven Carroll graduated from the University of Virginia and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry; and the American, Virginia, Tidewater, and Christian Dental Associations. Dr. Carroll enjoys living and working in Portsmouth, where he has lived and practiced family dentistry since 1988.

This was a really terrific experience for my nervous and inquisitive 7 year old. The hygienist was so patient and kind with him and answered his 1,000 kid questions to put him completely at ease. I wish I had her name so I could praise her here more and I hope we see her every visit!!!
The Dr was also so kind and thoughtful with him and very patient with his young visitor.

I’ve been a patient here for quite a few years now and the entire staff is amazing and very accommodating. My regular dentist is Dr. Casteen and she is excellent. I had an appointment today with Dr. Lawrence, young, professional and the knowledge of a veteran dentist!!!! Made my visit to be one precession and comfort!!!!

They were great. The front office, hygienists, and the doctor were all professional and friendly. Their office is clean and tidy. They frequently wipe down surfaces as a precaution, which goes above and beyond my expectations. The patient rooms are large enough that they don’t feel crowded at all. I would say that this is a fantastic place to be a patient.
