I have been going to this salon for more than 20 years and have seen it through a few iterations. In its current setup I think it is probably the best it’s been all around. Kathy has taken care of my family with everything for so long and always been fantastic. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

I love Sanas Hair Design, specifically Kathleen Leake! She has taken care of me and my three daughters’ hair for years. Her recommendations for styles and highlight colors has been spot on and I’ve received nothing but compliments after visiting her at the salon. My daughters will not go to anyone else but Kathleen. I highly recommend Sanas for their friendliness and professional atmosphere, and make sure to ask for Kathleen.

I have been a customer for over 30 years and I could not be happier w/ every Sana's experience I have ever had. From the folks at the front desk who greet you as you arrive, to the wonderful folks who wash your hair before your cut, everyone is top-notch! Kathleen Leake in particular always does a great job. I went in for a trim of about an inch and they didn’t even wash my hair, they just spritzed water on my hair and then charged me $50! When I told the receptionist that I didn’t get my hair washed she said yeah I know we took $10 off. The fact that I paid $50 (not including tip) for a trim with no wash or blow dry, pretty ridiculous. The lady who cut my hair was nice, but I just feel like it isn’t worth the price. Don’t come here if you are looking for a trim because you’ll be getting ripped off. I can’t attest to their other services they offer, but as far as a trim, not worth it.

Today we went to Sanas hair design and normally we ask for Suzanne because she’s perfect at what she does but sadly she couldn’t take us today so the only person the receptionist gave us was Vida who apparently does good hairstyles . My daughter wanted to get a simple hair style that was simply a pony tale with a swoop bang at the front since Vida couldn’t do the first hairstyle since we "didn’t provide a picture from the back of the hairstyle “ so my daughter gave her a more simple one which was the ponytail with a bang swoop but Vida gave us so many excuses even though it was literally

I asked for a dark coppery red. When I left the first time my hair was a light burgundy. I actually called them back and explained that wasn’t the color I wanted. I came back and they did the color again, and literally just made it the same color but darker.

I was looking for a nice salon to have my mother's hair done after living thru a year of COVID lockdown. The entire Sasha team was so welcoming and pleasant- they made my 95-year old mom feel comfortable and safe from the very start.
Nahid was able to turn Mom's stick-straight hair into a "do" that will be manageable for her for weeks to come. She took time to get to know my mom and what she wanted before she picked up her magic scissors..

Love love love my new haircut! I had really long hair (all the way down my back) and had maybe 12+ inches chopped off. I regularly grow out and donate my hair, so I'm maybe getting my hair cut every other year. This was my second time at Sana's and Sue was fantastic! I felt very safe and that they took many covid precautions (took my temp at the door, each station is separated by a clear shower curtain, no more than 3 stylists working at a time, no walk-ins, etc.). Sue understood exactly the cut I wanted, what worked best for me, & worked quickly to make it happen. Sue only works

I visited Sana's Hair Design for an eyebrow wax after seeing an ad on Yelp. I was happy to find that it is in a location that is convenient for me in Burke. Without the Yelp ad, I don't think I would have found this salon, as it sits pretty far back in the shopping center on Old Keene Mill Road with the Safeway, CVS, and Glory Days.
Since this is the first time I have been there, I am not sure who the stylist was that waxed my eyebrows, but she did a nice job. Prices for this service ($12) were also reasonable.

I used to live in Springfield and went to Suzanne for several years. She is awesome! She just has a way of cutting my hair that looks good, feels good and retains its style even as it grows out not to mention that she's also just a lovely person. A few years ago I moved to NC and have tried several different salons with very unsatisfactory results. Could not get anyone to cut it like Suzanne did or in a style that I was happy with. I have to give 5 stars to the business, stylists SUZANNE & KIRSTEN, and reception/front counter Delane (sp?).
First the good - SUZANNE 'saved' my hair the first time after another salon had an oops with a protein treatment and I had a broken hair mess and was really freaking out. She listens, then quickly gets to work, expertly turning 'mess' into great 'do. She wasn't available when I was way overdue for a cut, so Kirsten provided an awesome long, angled bob with layers and life was good.
Both are very personable, highly experienced, and you can trust

This gem of a salon has been hiding out in Burke for years. I always forget it's there because it's tucked away in the corner. You see Safeway and Glory Days and the little ones in between. Well I came here for the first time and got a hair cut from Sandy. What a great lady she is!!! She is full of conversation and hilarious. She cut my hair perfect and cleaned up my neck nicely. I had a simple man style hair cut with some trimmers and cutting down the tips. The front desk receptionist Marie is so super nice and very accommodating. The salon is clean, chick decor, smells nice

I have been going here for years. And I have never found that person or company that I love quite like Sana's and their lovely lady Amel! She is the best thing that has ever happened to my hair. I have moved around and been to a ton of places but never had someone that understands what I wanted. Love this place so very much.

I've been using wonderful Kathy Leake as my stylist for the past 20 years and I continue to be 100% satisfied! She always does a wonderful job cutting and highlighting my hair! I see her once a month and couldn't be happier with her magic! Whether I'm at work, or the gym, or at the beach, people continue to tell me I have "the perfect" haircut! That compliment has been given to me for years so I know I'm in very good hands!!! I will always use Kathy Leake @ Sana's as my hair stylist because she's awesome!!!
