AXOS bank allowed someone to fraudulently open a bank account in my name. I spoke with "customer service" immediately and they assured me that the account would be suspended and no activity was allowed. 3 weeks later I got a letter stating my account was overdrawn by $250. I've called customer service numerous times and can't get through to anyone. Voice mails go unreturned. Today I went to the only office in La Jolla. Nobody would see me. Some cowardly, faceless executive kept relaying placating bits of information through the poor receptionist and ultimately suggested I call the customer service

I recently had a major issue logging in to my account. After a couple of phone calls, the problem was resolved. It was me. Even still, throughout the whole ordeal, everyone I interacted with was very kind, and very helpful. At one point I was transferred to another department, and I thought this would probably be a 30 minute wait, as so often is the case. Much to my surprise, it was less than a minute, the person picked up. And just like that, it was done. Very professional, and like I said, everyone was very kind, and helpful. I'm glad I decided to use Axos as my small business online banker.

I used axos for a loan and it was fine until the loan was paid off. Once paid off I verified that there was a $0 payment and balance yet they took out another payment a week later. I told them to reverse the charge and fix their systems so this doesn’t happen to other customers because it’s clearly broken. They refused and said they would send me a check next month. That’s theft and they are aware their systems do this and don’t care.

I have found the app to be very good. It functions well with a good interface. I did call 2 times and the first woman solved my issue and got me approved and set up with an account. Then I did have some problems with online banking. The guy helped and stayed with me until I got it resolved. I am a new customer so no complaints as of now.

I still have this account purely for the reasons I've listed before. I have a target redcard attached to it and changing the account is nigh impossible, and my parents still use the joint account status to basically venmo me. The free ATM withdrawal is a nice perk, and for that reason it might be worth parking a small amount of money in axos if you have already had the misfortune of opening one of these accounts.
They never did fix the minor account issue. I simply had my parents use their joint status to empty the money market account then close it.

Axos bank offers all services associated with a bank, but at fantastic values that beat the pants off of traditional brick and mortar banks. Being computer non-savvy, I was wary about using an "online" bank"; however, I have had no problem with establishing accounts, setting up direct deposits and automatic payments, reviewing statements and tax documents, etc. Also, I have been very impressed by their responsive and knowledgeable customer service staff. If you're thinking about transitioning to digital banking, I unreservedly recommend Axos Bank.

Axos Bank provides a great account for small businesses. I love that I was able to open up an account without visiting a branch. Even when I travel, I am confident that I will be able to manage my business finances with the Axos Bank mobile app. I really appreciate that Axos Bank gives you the option of whether you want to have a debit card for your account.

1. Can't reach customer service for 2 weeks straight. Nobody EVER picks up the phone. EVER!
2. When call, you gets lost in menus, and the system hangs up.
3. Option for "keep your place in line, and be called back" is a LIE. Nobody calls you back EVER.
This is just the beginning. I am not going to spend in these f__kers.
Bank should be scorched off the earth, and sued like there is no tomorrow, so they "get a message"!

This bank seriously deserves MINUS 10 stars.
Supposed to be an online bank. Literally the worst, dysfunctional, horrible website that never works. Every time I log in it tells me my password is incorrect. Self reset is not enabled. I've asked so many times for it to be enabled. I stand by everything I said in my previous review. Nothing has improved.

The WORST fricken service!! Opened account online and CAN NOT MOVE MONEY INTO IT!!! Gave information on Account One (an online account) and AXOS wanted a photo of a PAPER statement. I get only online statements from them. Contacted AXOS and bank in question. Bank in question dropped the ball with the statement twice. Went to contact account with a walk-in bank I use. Tried to link it online and got "User Deactivated" message after entering the information. Called AXOS again. First call was put on hold and then disconnected. Second call, customer disservice wanted a screen shot of no outside

This is a response to Sara B's reply to my review from Axos Bank: I do not think you made any effort to disclose the information. Do you provide your customers something before they open an account, something in a normal font, not hidden somewhere inside the 10000 word contract that you are going to track and decide for them what they can do with their money? Why are you policing what services I use, if those services are completely legal? Can you explain how transferring my own money to the exchange is unsafe? And, how do you protect your customers when you tell them what services they are

I've never had more problems with a bank. I opened a high yield savings which they stated on their site, when I finally opened my account it was totally different from what the website stated. Trying to speaking to someone was totally impossible, they would lie to you.

Jason Johnson helped me out open my account and was extremely helpful and informative. Goes a long way for me in a climate where customer service isn't what it used to be. They are exactly what I need in a bank as far as investments, my mortgage and handling my income. Couldn't be more impressed. Not sure about the bad reviews on here because I didn't remotely have a difficult experience. Will recommend to my family and friends

The ease and quickness of signup for my savings account was fantastic. When I wanted to add my wife as co-owner, I sent in a customer service request and their response was within an hour. When I sent in the form, the change was completed less than two hours later.
