Fishers Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1979 by local veterinarian David Brown, DVM. We are a well-established AAHA-accredited animal hospital, 6-doctor small animal practice with 3 locations in the northern Indianapolis suburbs (2 in Fishers and 1 in Carmel). Our highly respected, thriving practice has vested DVMs, RVTs and compassionate customer service staff as well as nurses with over 170 years of collective veterinary experience.

Services
Fishers Veterinary Associates has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1988. Only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA. Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. This means we holds ourselves to a higher standard, and that your pet is receiving care at a hospital that has passed the highest standards in veterinary care.
At Fishers Veterinary Associates, we take the physical and mental health of our patients into consideration when performing services and treatments. We have Fear Free Certified Professionals on our team who are working to "take the 'pet' out of 'petrified'" and provide stress-free visits for all of our patients.
Fishers Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer our clients a wide array of services for their pets, ranging from Oncology to Boarding. If you would like to learn more about any of our listed services, please call 317-842-5865. Regular visits to the veterinarian are the cornerstone of your pet's health.

Awesome staff and facilities! Dan and the crew took excellent care of our elder puggle in their boarding area. He needed some extra medical attention at the end of his stay and the onsite medical staff took the time to make sure he was safe and healthy. Our little guy came home in great shape thanks to the kind and knowledgeable folks at Fishers Veterinary! Highly recommend!

I adopted a cat from IACS and I wanted her to be checked out since she had been wheezing. I made an appointment and brought her in. Really great staff. They went through everything I had on the cat and gave me recommendations on stuff to screen for. This cat was very skittish and they were so kind and patient with me and the cat.
I absolutely recommend Fishers Vet Hospital.

The techs are all super friendly. They have very strict safety precautions for covid now. You call upon arrival to check in, a tech will collect your pet at the front door (unless your presence is necessary you will have to wait outside/in your car), then you'll get a call when complete to make a payment over the phone and get your pet at the exit.

Regarding my review of Fishers Veterinary hospital posted 12/27/2020 where Jackie responded saying to call if I wanted to discuss anything, perhaps she forgot that I called and spoke to her 2 days after my cat was euthanized and several days before I posted.I discussed every situation that I referred to and included names and details. It was at that time that I requested that all records, blood work results and x rays of my remaining dogs(2) and cats(2)be transferred to my new veterinary facility.
Once again, my phone call was of no importance and forgotten.

This hospital comes up when you search for an emergency location. It was also suggested by my usual vet clinic who couldn't see us. I had a cat who had been poisoned by a plant and tried to come in and they refused to see us. I told them they were listed as an emergency facility and she said, "well we aren't." Very disappointed in how they handled my situation, given I was right outside their door with an extremely alarming and potentially life threatening problem. I quickly got her to VCA which did not hesitate to take her in.

I tried taking my new golden doodle puppy here on a Saturday morning. My appointment was for 7:50 AM and I arrived about 745. Because of coronavirus going on they apparently wanted us to call and wait at our cars and they would come out and get the dog. This is great except for the fact that they never communicated this and they let me stand outside for 20 minutes with my dog just looking at me. Never was I told about this no one came out to tell me I just stood there with them staring at me and they finally came out and told me that I needed to call for them to take my dog when I was standing

I have taken my dogs here in the past. Usually referred over by their carMel office. I feel confident when I wwalk in here that my pet is goinG to get the kind of care they deserve. Today my Labrador had an ultra sound and dropped her off in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon. Results came in a timely fashion. The front desk people here are great. Plenty of space as well. I would highly recommend these guys.

I am always pleased with the care and concern shown to my cats by both the doctors and support staff. I am grateful that my 16 year old cat was able to be seen so quickly when she exhibited extremely concerning symptoms, and the office staff went the extra mile to help me get an appointment the same day. I have the utmost respect for everyone working in this challenging yet rewarding field.

My cats and I love Dr. Cable! I have seen her at the Carmel and Fishers locations. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. She carries a basket full of treats and toys to entertain the animals. I'm moving cross country so I asked for advice on transporting the cats and she printed out several articles on acclimating them to their carriers and the car, what to do about food and litter box, and helping them adjust to their new home. I had gone to Parkside Animal Hospital before and had a negative experience- asked a male vet there the same question and he just abruptly

We made the excruciating decision to put our 18 yo Border Collie down and I will always be grateful for the kindness and empathy shown by Dr. Mozeika and staff. They provided a loving atmosphere where we could be with Daisy before, during and after. Dr. Mozeika took time to listen and counsel before the procedure. We didn't feel rushed after the procedure took place. A few days later, we received a beautiful hand-written note from Dr. Mozeika.
We've taken our dogs to Fishers Veterinary Assoc. for many years and have been very satisfied with the level of care from all the doctors and

I am so very grateful for all of the care Fishers Veterinary Hospital has given my cat! I have not had one bad experience here and I've been taking my cat here for over a year. The staff is always friendly, will answer any questions you have, and truly adore your pets. They have multiple locations located in the area and they even have Saturday hours!
I have a Bengal cat and he is the craziest (and coolest) little dude you'll ever meet. Due to his natural instincts he gets into everything and is super active. Whenever I've had an emergency come up Fishers Vet had a bet on-call

Great place to take your animal! I started taking my dog here about 4 years ago. All the vets and technicians are great. They send yearly reminders when it's time for my dogs annual visit and honestly it's always a great experience. It's nice knowing my dog will get the best treatment and great service.

After losing 2 beloved pets at Fishers Veterinary Clinic, I have had to find more qualified Vets for my pet family. It was the complete incompetence of Dr. Lee that my dog was diagnosed as having a cold when in fact he had the deadly, and very common infection of blastomycosis. With the commonality of blasto in this region, my Zoe should have been tested during the FIRST visit....not after the 5th. By then, it was too late and my baby died in my arms. This was nearly a year ago, and I am still heartbroken by the senseless death. What I am certain of is that Dr. Lee does not have enough training

Despite one bad experience here with another doctor, I absolutely love Dr. Lee. She has taken care of my mom and aunts dogs for years so i decided to give her a try. Putting my cat down was one of the hardest things i've had to do and she was nothing but caring and supportive through the whole process. i can't thank her enough for everything she did for Curie. I recommend her to anyone looking for a quality vet

Dr. Lee is my dogs' veterinarian and she is absolutely phenomenal. I recently moved to the area and was struggling to find a vet practice I had a good feeling or experience with until Fishers Veterinary Associates was recommended to me. I took my Maltese in for a routine dental, and Dr. Lee found an infection (what I thought was just a scab or scratch on my dog from her allergies) that would most likely have killed my little dog if it had gone untreated. She is so thorough and clearly cares about the well-being of the animals she treats, and I love the all-natural, holistic approach she takes

Dr Karen Collins and staff are the most caring and knowledgeable around. We would not take our puppies to see any other vet. They go the extra mile to make sure our pets get the care needed. They have helped our dogs with weight issues, cancer, and dental concerns. Their facilities are welcoming and I have never felt worried about leaving my animals with them.

I switched to Fishers vet after a recommendation from a friend because I was not pleased with my vet. Dr Lee is AMAZING. She treats my dog and I as if we are her only clients. My 2 year old lab has many many allergies and she has worked diligently with me to solve these problems, even down to computing a special recipe of food I make for my lab. She always calls me back even if its in the evening hours. We truly feel cared for here. The other staff is excellent as well, always loving on my Sadie and giving her the princess treatment. I have complete confidence in this place and will never go anywhere
