Timber Tech Engineering Inc., founded in 1990, is a structural engineering firm specializing in post frame building design. We currently have four offices located in Denver, Pennsylvania; Morrisdale, Pennsylvania; Kouts, Indiana; and Kingston Springs, Tennessee.
Timber Tech Engineering, Inc. specializes in the design of post-frame buildings for commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects. These design services include detailing of the foundation, post, roof systems, wall systems, and other structural members. Our goal is to provide you with the most economical design that will support the snow, wind, and other loads applied to the building.
At Timber Tech Engineering the quality of our work is a reflection of the quality of our people. Timothy R. Royer is the president and sole owner of Timber Tech Engineering Inc., which he founded in 1990.
He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering with a Structures Emphasis including Structural Design, Agricultural Structures, Agricultural Systems, Strength of Materials, Heat Transfer, and Mechanical Drafting.Prior to founding Timber Tech Engineering Inc., Tim worked for Rigidply Rafters, Inc. of Richland, Pennsylvania as their head Engineer for six years.

Timber Tech Engineering, Inc. provided structural design for this 40'-0" x 64'-0" two story post-frame house and garage. Post-frame with timber trusses above the great room located on top of a 10' concrete foundation wall on one side and a perma-column foundation system on the other. With the addition of the cupola this structure stands 30'-9 above grade.
