Services
Better Living Home Care, a Home Health Care service registry, was founded by Carl Montgomery after he cared for his own family members in their homes. Carl learned first-hand that his relatives enjoyed a comfortable quality of life as well as retaining their dignity, because they received care in familiar surroundings.
Carl came from a family of health care providers and spent time providing personal care to both his parents. He discovered the joy and fulfillment of giving a little piece of himself in order to bring some peace of mind and comfort to the lives of his family members.

Carl later pursued a career as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner and practiced at Westchester Square Medical, Our Lady of Mercy Hospital and White Plains Hospital Medical Center for a total of eight years. He then relocated to Connecticut where he practiced in-house respiratory therapy on a one-on-one basis.
Better Living Home Care is a home health care agency committed to providing cost-effective personal assistance throughout Connecticut. The owner, Carl Montgomery, and his staff have decades of combined experience, including administrative and hands-on care in the health care field. Carl began his pledge to lend a helping hand after caring for his own family members in their homes.
Did you know that the term "early onset" is now referred to as "younger onset?"This change was made to eliminate confusion between "early onset" and "early stage." Early-stage is the early part of Alzheimer's disease when problems with memory, thinking and concentration may begin to appear in a doctor's interview or medical tests.
If you are a caregiver, this section is for you. Yes, providing care for a loved one can be rewarding and fulfilling, but research has shown that more than one-third of family caregivers suffers harm to their physical, emotional and mental well-being. If you've ever flown, you're familiar with this phrase.
